Is Payday: The Heist worth it?
Yes, but it's seriously lacking in content so I wouldn't pay full price for it if I were you. But that's just my opinion.
That Amazon sale is tempting, especially Saints Row The Third and Alice: Madness Returns.
Can anyone vouch for those?

Saints Row the Third is a fun game with a good campaign but it lacks replay value. If it's cheap, I'd recommend it, plus it's a lot of fun with friends. I'd avoid the DLC though, as pretty much all of it is just a bunch of cheap packs containing reskins of vehicles and weapons already in the game. It's definitely a blast to play though and the humor isn't too bad.

So it's probably worth the $16.49 then. Thanks!

I actually had a lot of fun still after the campaign controlling the rest of the city and using the cheats like zombie pedestrians and such. Also a lot of fun to screw around with friends.

I'd definitely say that unless you have friends to play with it gets dull fast though, there's no real reason to actually want to stick around after the campaign is done and take over every area of the city, and my game even apparently has some sort of issue where Gang Operations I've eliminated haven't been saved as eliminated and they won't respawn, so for me I can't even finish the game.
I definitely like the vehicles, though I wish there was more vehicle customization, (basically any vehicle that isn't a generic car can't be customized) more of an actual use for boats, (they're used in like only two missions and there's really nowhere to really go with the boats) and more planes.
Why add in some awesome military grade boat with missiles and machine guns when it's a pain in the ass to hit anything with it and there's nothing to really do with it?
