• How did you feel about The Last of Us' controls?

I was under the impression that it was widely accepted that the controls in The Last of Us, at least when aiming, were pretty bad. The needless sway of the weapon made it pretty hard to aim, particularly among people who don't use controllers a lot. How did you fair with the controls?
I thought they were okay, nothing special but not awful
I can't play shooters on consoles worth a damn, so the slightly less forgiving than average aiming made it all the worse.
Since i'm playing it for the story i actually got sick of dying and missing and went to easy
Isn't the terrible aiming part of the 'immersion', and you can make your character less shit at using guns through progression?
I don't see what everyone's problem is with the aiming. Yeah, the weapons sway but you can upgrade Joel so that it's significantly reduced, and it's very subdued in the multiplayer. I had no problem with the controls and really liked the cover and melee mechanics.
Once you upgrade your weapons it feels tight, I liked the way it swayed though, thought it made it more realistic feeling.
It had fairly solid controls.
