Hey. I'm sure there's a multitude of threads like this but with Search being arsed and scanning the past 5 pages I can't find any relevant.
I'm looking for a small, afford(~£40)able graphics tablet that will be decent for drawing smallish (Cyanide and happiness sized) comics and things like that, I won't be doing anything huge or epic detail but I want pressure sensitivty and all that.
Any help would be appreciated!
I don't think you can get a pressure sensitive, and 'decent' tablet for 40 quid. I put down 155 Euro for my tablet.
Wacom bamboo.
Seconded for Bamboo, I'm using it and it's a great all around tablet. Also cheap.

This looks great actually. I'm willing to spend more for better quality, I just didn't want anything too crazy tbh.
But is this any better or worse? http://www.ebuyer.com/product/175427
I don't really need them touch features from the dearer one.. but is that the only major difference or will I get better quality(?) with the top link?
Get pen only unless you do digital fingerpainting or want some fancy useless gestures.
I'd say the best cheap tablet you could get is a Bamboo, which I had before I got my Intuos 3.
And yeah I'd generally agree the touch pad doesn't have much use. Definitely don't go paying extra for it. If the pricing is close I'd say go for it, but expect to accidentally trigger stuff sometimes, happens even on my new tablet.
Yeah, I don't need the touch gestures at all. I usually hate them on any device anyway.
I'll just go with the Bamboo Pen :D thanks guys.

Bamboo pen tablet instead of bamboo pen AND touch tablet
I have a bamboo, it's okay.
If I had a choice I would get an at least A4 size though

He's on a budget. Besides, some professionals even prefer smaller tablets over larger ones, It's really a personal preference. Although being able to afford a higher DPI and more pressure sensitivity is always a plus.
Bamboo Pen if you really want basic.
Pen and Touch if you want a little extra.
Yeah it's called Bamboo Pen Xerious3 ^^;
And OP, I got said tablet for £50 from Amazon - after searching around the nets. Previously I had found one on Ebay asking bid of £30, but that soon shot up more than £50, so I forked out on Amazon. You'll unlikely get a spanking new one cheaper unless you get a really lucky find...but I think it's worth the green anyway.
Love the tablet, great for a noob like myself - I've only recently went digital ;) Bamboo Pen has great pressure sensitivity, small board which I appreciate due to little space (and I don't have to traverse a large board to get the pointer across the screen :p ), clean design - looks nice and pen is comfortable to hold. I think it'd do you well :D
Thanks Tom-ate-em. I'll most likely be getting the Bamboo pen.
