Eh, the RAM seems a bit iffy IMO, I'd go with a more reliable brand such as corsair.

I don't think the RAM brand is an issue, but considering that's $400 under budget you should get 8gb of it.

Also, XMS3 is as cheap as that Patriot RAM. I don't know whether it's better, but it's looks more exclusive (refer to the exclusive shit comic).
rest of the money is for monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers

if i keep my build, get dual channel and change to a MSI GTX 570 will everything still be compatible? cause i do like your build, im just looking for some different parts this is what i have picked out as of now Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146068 psu - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006 MoBo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130582 RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231308 - changed CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072 - changed GPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150506 - change to a MSI GTX 570?
