snuggies are still a thing?
Snuggie maker Allstar Marketing Group and the US Department of Justice have clashed about this classification since 2010. This is great news for Snuggie makers, who will only pay a 8.5 percent tariff to import into the US, instead of the 14.9 percent they’d be saddled with under a garment classification.
Christ. Good for them, I guess.
scalia wouldve stopped this
snuggies are still a thing?
they're actually not too bad
Aren't they basically backwards robes?
snuggies are still a thing?
They actually work well. Wouldn't pay for one, but I'd gladly accept one as a gift.
this is just as terrible as that time the US government declared xmen not human
So I did some research on the origins of the Snuggie, and it's interesting. Before the Snuggie hit the market you had two similar products: The Slanket which was originally created by a lazy college student in the late 90s who just cut holes in a blanket for his arms so he could easier use the TV remote (and his mom added sleeves later). It went to market 2005ish iirc. Then you had the Freedom Blanket, a small family operation which produced basically the same thing during the same period. Then the Snuggie came out and boosted the sales of the Slanket.
snuggies are just wizard robes
About time we got some good news in Sensationalist Headlines for once.
snuggies are just wizard robes
the next time the KKK convene it turns out all their robes are just white snuggies
this is just as terrible as that time the US government declared xmen not human
Fucking Mutie scum.
i jokingly said that i wanted a snuggie one year and my parents got me one for christmas. it is literally a backwards robe, made out of the cheapest material possible (i think it was fleece).
Is this good or bad? I need to know if I should feel outrage or not.
so does this mean that wearing nothing but a snuggie in public is now illegal? (honestly thought this was gonna be about that, not taxes)
This is a farce....
I mean I love my snuggie to death, but it's def a blanket. Also this is in general better unless you're being arrested for public indecency.
So if I go to The States (if they let me in) wearing nothing but a snuggie would I be arrested for indecent exposure?
So if I go to The States (if they let me in) wearing nothing but a snuggie would I be arrested for indecent exposure?
you'd be arrested for crimes against humanity
