Over the summer I had to listen to Spanish music for my Spanish III class. The selected tracks sucked, so I found myself a metal band called Mago de Oz (Wizard of Oz) that suits my music interests. Here are 2 tracks that kinda show what kind of music they do. They use instruments like the flute and the violin in their songs, which is pretty cool for a metal band in my opinion. Windmills: The Leader I was wondering if Facepunch knew other cool bands that aren't (sung) in English or songs that are played with instruments unique to a certain region/country. I only have Spanish to offer unfortunately.
Already a thread for this I believe, but I would have to say Sigur Ros or La Quiete. [editline]21st September 2011[/editline] Only had to dig to one page to find this: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1119073

as in bands that don't sing in english or just bands that are from a different country?
Skambankt. Norwegian hard rock band. I don't speak a word of Norwegian so the lyrics are just a complete mystery to me, but the music is just so damn great.
as in bands that don't sing in english or just bands that are from a different country?
Either songs that aren't sung in English or have special instruments native to that country (mainly China&Japan). England and the U.S. share a lot of the same music because well we can understand each other/we have similar music taste.

This band is probably the best band I've ever heard that wasn't from the US. I believe they're from Italy. P.S - It sounds best with headphones. It doesn't really matter if it's sung in a different language, it comes from another country.
