• Is there a way to replace one format of music file with another?

And what I mean by that is; When iTunes automatically converts your music for you into .mp3, is there a way to use those files to replace the source files instead of just being grouped together with them? The problem is a lot of my music is in a .wma format on an external harddrive, and when iTunes converts the music is saves it in the 'My Music' folder on my main, so I have two copies of the same song in different places. I want to copy the iTunes converted music over onto my external, but instead of the new music replacing the old, it only gets grouped together instead, so I'd still have two copies of everything. Is there a way to make windows replace the files instead of grouping them? Even if it's a program you download. If that makes sense :iiam:
