Apparently there is a MySpace user named, 'Comedian Josh Keener'. On the discussion with his latest blog, 'Tired of people blaming the guns' in the 'News and Politics' category, he decides to post this excruciatingly long email he sent to this man who was simply making a very mature and well presented debate on his view point in regard of owning weaponry. His view was that owning weaponry is considered to be too dangerous and unnecessary if used in the manner of self defense or otherwise. His email response shows his highly developed debating skills. His blog can be located here. Please keep note that his main email is simply too long to be considered being posted here: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=391902451&blogId=481437725 But what I can show though is a... quote of remembrance:
Say by having a spit rammed up your cornhole and roasted over an open fire like a fucking bag of chestnuts at Christmas time. I won't be able to pick up my assault rifle and come make sure your rights are protected. BECAUSE YOU FUCKING HELPED THEM TAKE IT!!! I know sounds pretty far fetched. But because of assholes like you who want to infringe on certain rights. just remember there is another asshole out there who will take it a little further than you. He'll probably come to you asking for a vote, promising Hope, Change, and anything else he can say. If you think it's never happened. Please by all means watch this video. It's historical proof that it can, will, does, and did happen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q-6H4xOUrs
Did you read the whole blog? That's great! Want to know what's even more amusing? Go read the comments underneath now. Think of it as a well deserved reward for those with a long attention span. And better yet, go check his other blogs. I'm sure he's pretty popular. Also Moderators, if this is placed in the wrong section or this thread is considered "Spam". I apologize. Please feel free to move/dispose it elsewhere where you feel suitable. Thank you.
the funny thing is I agree with some of the things he's talking about. seriously i am tired of the government trying to get us to register our guns just so violent criminals can't go around killing people with unregistered guns.
the funny thing is I agree with some of the things he's talking about.
It's only been 2 minutes. Don't kid yourself just yet until you've read everything.
These blogs are well thought out. I agree.
I never understood why people can't live without their goddamn guns.
Protip: The citizenry is allowed to own firearms in order to deter and/or overthrow a radical state militia. Not self defense.
Protip: The citizenry is allowed to own firearms in order to deter and/or overthrow a radical state militia. Not self defense.
No one seems to understand this fact.
No one seems to understand this fact.
Nor do they understand the logic therein employed by people who had just spent a number of years fighting against a radical state militia, like four different times before the Constitution got written. Not just Britain, either. There were a ton of rebellions under the Articles of Confederacy. Generally because the Articles of Confederacy were fucked.
This always confuses me, how there are no funny conservative entertainers I know lots of funny conservatives in person, but when it comes to entertainment you guys just have Glenn Beck and Carrot Top
I watched reservoir dogs last night and I think I'm starting to see the anti-gun argument...
He's boring for someone who claims to be a comedian. All I saw was paragraphs upon paragraphs of a poorly written argument about how someone who emailed him was some kind of dick for thinking that guns can hurt people. What's gotten into this world, guns being able to hurt people?
No sir actually i am a child of a man who sweat buckets and bled rivers in the jungles of vietnam to preserve my right to own any gun i want to own.
Wait, U.S. went to vietnam to protect their right to own any gun their citizens want? What? Did I miss a meeting or something?
Goddamnit he's one of the faggots that make people who want more gun control look right.
I don't see why people have been so antsy about gun control/tighter gun laws. They only deter crimes for a short while; for example, look at Columbine. There were very strict gun laws placed in Colorado, and still are but the reasons Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris obtained the weapons were from friends. At the time they were able to purchase ammo at their local Walmarts, although those laws have changed now; it still goes to show people will disregard these laws that only seem to pack the bindings of books no one will read or care to read. And I'm annoyed with the fact people don't understand that the right to bear arms isn't just the right to defend yourself from home invasion, but the right to form a militia in the event our government becomes to corrupt and we decide we want to start over. Kind of like a reboot button on a computer. Of course a computer doesn't require bloodshed to restart this is basically as Thomas Jefferson had said once, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." But this is a more elaborated repeat of a previous post.
