Hi took my car to the shop got a alarm system installed and the idiots didnt disable the factory alarm which arms after 2 mins. Any quick fixes?
Considering how much of a clusterfuck factory wiring usually is, and the mess aftermarket alarm systems create, no.
You more or less have to find out how to steal your own car.
Isn't there a hidden kill switch somewhere?

At-least he can then say he's driving it like he stole it.
OP you dun goofed. You took it to some one that did not know jack shit about your car.
What kind of car is it? If its a volkswagen than there's not really much you can do about the on board alarm other than making sure you "unlock" it before you crank it.
When I got my alarm / remote start on my Audi I took it to a Audi enthusiast that works at a customs shop. He already knew the wiring diagram and were everything was and only took him ~20min to install.
There's lots you can do, what kind of car???
Almost every single car has a "disarm" wire, that disarms the factory alarm. This wire is either in the vehicle going to the BCM or alarm module, or in the door going to the door module where it is then turned into a data signal and connected to the BCM. The wire originates from the driver's doorlock cyl, and it almost every case goes to ground when the key it turned in the tumnbler (so that you don't set your alarm off unlocking it with the key). The only exception is a few mid 2000's GM vehicles, like Cobalts, H3's, etc.
Let me know what kind of alarm it is and what kind of car, and I can let you know how to properly hook it up. This is what I do for a living :)
