Chris Christie, NBC 4 New York has learned. This follows early testimony in the George Washington Bridge scandal trial, which some Assembly members believe shows the Republican governor had more knowledge of the lane closures in Fort Lee during and after that week in 2013 then he has led the public to believe. One committee chairman who did not want to be named said "clearly obstruction of justice" would be an obvious charge against the governor. The legislator told NBC 4 New York the chances are probably 50-50 that the assembly would pursue impeachment.
Good. Now if only we could do the same thing for Cuomo we might be able to Make the Tri-State-Area Great Again.
Good, someone who closes a bridge because he's having a shit fit shouldn't be governor of anything.
It's OK because he's going to be Attorney General soon anyway :) In all seriousness though, isn't his approval rating the lowest of any governor?

Not surprising the garbage state has produced a particularly shitty governor like Krisp Krispy.
better late than never i suppose.
I can tell you right now that nobody hates Christie more than people living in New Jersey.
Can confirm. Only the only old conservatives who hate everything like him. Someone please get me out of here.
Might be of help for the Republicans. Gives the Lieutenant Governor time to fix this mess and look better for her election campaign which is on track to be an absolute route for the Democrats. The Democrats might keep him in office and not impeach for purely cynical political reasons. [editline]23rd September 2016[/editline] Also, Trump is probably pretty glad that he didn't pick Christie to be his veep like he originally wanted to.
Can confirm. Only the only old conservatives who hate everything like him. Someone please get me out of here.
My father is an old conservative and if he had the chance to shoot Christie, he probably would. I don't think even that group likes him very much :v:

Every time something damning comes to light about a republican he pulls the fifth grade "b-but the democrats do it too!" I guess my old man is just the odd one out.
I can tell you right now that nobody hates Christie more than people living in New Jersey.
As a guy in Philly who works with New Jersey peeps, the hatred for Christie burns brighter than our hatred for the Dallas Cowboys.
My father's probably a special case; he's had his pension under threat by Christie's actions which understandably transcend any kind of party loyalty, especially being just a handful of years away from retiring.
If Christie could have his way both of my parents, who put a combined 60 years of service to the state and county in social work and grant funds management, they would have gotten their pensions absolutely fucked. Dad even went to a few protests and rallies to show support. What's even worse is that he's broken the record for most vetoes of any NJ governor in the last 25 years, "I said to him that day that if he had been giving me veto pens, I would have a whole collection."
I heard Chris Christie doesn't like Bon Jovi OR Bruce Springsteen
I heard Chris Christie doesn't like Bon Jovi OR Bruce Springsteen
BREAKING: Chris Christie impeached in unanimous vote
I'd be sweating hard if I were him. 50/50 is not looking good.
I'd be sweating hard if I were him. 50/50 is not looking good.
That blubberous sack of shit starts sweating the moment he wakes up and realizes that nobody has pushed him back into the ocean yet
Chris Christie is the fat dude who fucked over Rubio with the robot man stuff right? I get my overweight Republicans mixed up quite a bit. That guy always seemed dodged as hell to me and it seems like I was getting the right vibes, this man seems like a real piece of shit.
Good. Now if only we could do the same thing for Cuomo we might be able to Make the Tri-State-Area Great Again.
If only. They're both shitty governors for different reasons.
How is he elected at all? Clearly there is a voterbase somewhere?
He was running against a completely unelectable opponent and had a pretty clean track record at the time.
He was running against a completely unelectable opponent and had a pretty clean track record at the time.
I always love that in Governor elections. Current presidential elections aside, how in a whole state can you have someone running so unelectable. Same shit with the recent Louisiana elections. [editline]26th September 2016[/editline] And the elected party in that situation had the last name of Edwards, a name I thought would lose him a bunch of votes even if he is no relation.
So I'm a New Jerseyan who hasn't kept up with NJ politics since Jon Corzine was in office and currently living in a military base in the middle of Kansas. Why does everyone hate Christie so much?
I'm not too familiar with this guy, but isn't this "Bridgegate" thing over the fact he ordered the closure of a major bridge just to spite a political rival or something like that? Seriously, why do Americans keep letting the morons into government office. People pay so much attention and lip service to the Presidential elections but nobody seems to give much of a shit when it comes to Governors or the House of Representatives.

"Morons," as you call them, are attracted to power. They are in all political divisions, but they all desire power. That is why impeachment exists in this country. The question is, can the parties set aside their political differences to impeach those who abuse power. Political parties tend to vote too much along party lines. Again, this is not unique to America. It exists in every country. We just happen to be a major focus given the influence of our country on the rest of the world.

Get garbage voters, you get garbage leaders.
