more wire shit
finish starbound faster
Sandbox mode to just build shit I know it's not really the goal of the game to build things up but I love the 2D graphics and I'm kind of frustrated the game doesn't make it any easier for you to actually build good things.
Wait, I thought Redigit shut down all development when Blue and Tiy left

Despite the massive selection of materials the sandbox-y building aspect felt underutilized. Looting and combat sort of overshadowed everything else.
No, he had to 'take care of his family' (back in reality; a super mario fan game), but the lie was short lived and once his money tooth started aching, he went on his way to release a console version. And I guess that's when he realised that Terraria still has potential.
Is Regedit a bad guy?
3d please.
Mod support. The only fucking thing we need left is mod support. Then everything else will solve itself.
3d please.
I would like 4.5d and smellovision if they're going to be increasing the number of Ds in the game
All I want is the content they've been throwing at the consoles while rather conveniently ignoring the PC players that made the game big in the first place to be given to PC players.
Maybe make Hard Mode less of a grind? Also have the NPCs follow the player as combat-capable companions, as well as make it easier to walk around the world without jumping all the time.
The content that's been thrown on console obviously? Especially the ingame map and pets.
finish starbound faster
Because nobody else said it, Redigit doesn't work on Starbound. Tiy, the art guy, does.
Anything in the console version that isn't in the PC version. A sandbox mode would be nice, and mod support would be to. Then Redigit can go jump off a cliff and I wouldn't give a shit.
I would like a big final boss. At the moment, you'll probably beat Skeletron Prime last, and you'll be able to craft some new stuff. However, that doesn't really matter because at that point you've exhausted everything you can do.
I would like to see a new variety in low tier armor and weapons. Also perhaps some wild animals that can be hunted for some ressources like leather and skin. Perhaps a final boss would be neat. Also perhaps more biomes or a new underground area. Also some variety in enemies would be neat.
Lol at the Redigit hate. It's not like he doubled Terraria's content after release or anything. Only thing you can blame him for are the broken promises.
Lol at the Redigit hate. It's not like he doubled Terraria's content after release or anything.
Hrm...I just started my copy of the game...and nothing's been added in ages. Where's this 'doubled' content you're talking about? I don't see it anywhere....

Then he started adding tons of content and new features, I don't know which one though. The best thing is that it was entirely free. Then he kind of left the game, which is a shame but not a disaster like everyone mentions. The game is really solid and has tons of content, besides it's not very expensive either. Although his excuse was lame, "my wife gets a child, I need to get to know him". It's not like every husband has quite a similiar experience, besides he has an advantage because Terraria is somehow his own creation. He is not entirely bound to work hours like a cab driver or cashier. He's more flexible than other people. Also there are tons of people who work but still manage to take care of their children.

This newsbot is shit.

You craft all the fancy end game stuff out of the robotic boss loot, but there's nothing left to do with it after that. Terraria is stronger then MineCraft in it's combat system, and they didn't expand upon it that much. Wall of Flesh and the Twins were a step in the right direction, Skeletron 2.0 was alright, but still not as interesting. My beef with Redigit is that he said that he didn't want to develop terraria anymore. That was alright, game developers have a right to stop developing their game. But when other companies want to expand upon it, he flips them the bird. When people want to mod the game to expand upon it, he flips them the bird forcing them to create their own unique method of modding. Now all of a sudden he comes back and let's a company develop Terraria again! Oh wait it's a console port. With unique new end game content that had no plans to be released on PC. That's a load of shit and people know it. Why should we be forced to pay for a product TWICE if we already bought the PC version to experience new content?
Hrm...I just started my copy of the game...and nothing's been added in ages. Where's this 'doubled' content you're talking about? I don't see it anywhere....
Have you not activated hardmode? Its ridiculously fun how much is added from that point.
Differently colored wire that doesn't intersect with each other and a fast-travel mechanism like trains you can build. Not a huge fan of building sky bridges everywhere, but a subway station, now that sounds like fun. And, of course, mod support.
Have you not activated hardmode? Its ridiculously fun how much is added from that point.
I consider Hard Mode to be the main point in the game, four bosses before that just as a little warmup and enemies that are challenging when you start out. But when you get the right gear and weapons to take down the Wall of Flesh, it really begins and you get to see much more in the game than what you see in the normal mode.
Do you EVEN hard mode!?!

Have you not activated hardmode? Its ridiculously fun how much is added from that point.
Yes, I have actually. There isn't much more fun to be had there. If anything it's less fun, since I can't build skyscrapers in hardmode. They all end up swallowed up by either hallow or corruption, neither of which is terribly pleasant. I'm forced to build floating castles and/or subterranean bunkers in order to keep my NPCs from getting murdered by unicorns and soul eaters. It's sodding annoying. Also, the new armors are just a boring-ass grind, to get them at all you need to smack a bunch of those dark altars which are a pain to find, you need to use a special hammer that doesn't always drop from the WoF to smash them, and the pathetically small ore veins are a bitch and a half to find. I enjoy the easy mode far more. I can relax, build something cool, and not have to worry about my NPCs getting murdered every five minutes. The funniest part about hardmode is that it isn't even that hard. Once you've got a clockwork assault rifle and a plat in the bank you're set. The new enemies can't touch you at that point. And once you get a set of wings? Yeah that sort of shoots all the difficulty dead right there, since you can just build a runway atop your base and literally just fly over the map ignoring the mobs entirely. By that point all the challenge has exited stage right and you're left with picking fights from the new bosses if you want anything that's truly hard. By this point in the game I'm usually doing one of two things: Flying around aimlessly, or down in the disco looping Staying Alive while randomly jiggling the movement keys. There's just nothing else to do anymore. You two have no idea, it seems, that the doubling of content went straight to the consoles with nary a single bit finding its way to PC players. THAT is the doubling of content I'm not seeing, THAT is the doubling of content referred to, and THAT is the content I want ported back.
I can't tell if you're joking or not
I'm not joking. The PC version hasn't gotten any love in months. The console version's been getting HEAPS of new content quite steadily, and just recently gets a bunch more cool shit that would make the PC version even better.
Edit: Seriously when did you buy the game
Shortly after it came out lol. I've had it for fucking ages. I still remember when the rocket boots used your mana instead of an arbitrary time limit.
I'm forced to build floating castles and/or subterranean bunkers in order to keep my NPCs from getting murdered by unicorns and soul eaters.
That's the reason it's called HARD-mode.
you need to use a special hammer that doesn't always drop from the WoF to smash them
Wrong, it ALWAYS drops from the WoF.
and the pathetically small ore veins are a bitch and a half to find
HARD-mode.
You two have no idea, it seems, that the doubling of content went straight to the consoles with nary a single bit finding its way to PC players.
They were talking about the doubling of content since the release of Terraria on the PC, not the slight increase in content now on the console version.
The console version's been getting HEAPS of new content quite steadily, and just recently gets a bunch more cool shit that would make the PC version even better.
The console version is getting that stuff in February. WHEN IT GETS RELEASED. You're completely misinformed if you think it's been out and getting content steadily.
