I think I've seen a game like this before somewhere.
I think the whole physics-engine-bodies-colliding-real-tackles is fucking cool

It's being implemented for player movement in BF3, it looks spectacular.
I love RPS posts like this.

Ah that's cool. They also used it in NHL 11 and it was pretty fun. Not up-to-par with Backbreaker but still cool.
To be honest, I am a real sucker for physics engine stuff like this. Backbreaker would've been nothing without it. I really hope more and more developers will use stuff like this instead of the boring ragdolls or even death-animations.
This shit is really amazing, I love how ball survives all this tackling.
Let's hope the PC version won't be a port of X360's FIFA 11.
Like currently, FIFA 11 (PC) = FIFA 10 (X360) + few additions. None of these next-gen stuff (Personality+, etc.) made into the PC version.

Is this really the case? That's fucking sad

Really? I heard that FIFA 11 was the one where they actually bothered to make them the same. Could be totally wrong though to be fair, that's just a rumour I heard.
I really wouldn't know though seeing how FIFA's a game I'll probably always buy on console. It's absolutely amazing for multiplayer and it's hard as balls to get a four people gathered round a computer compared to playing on XBox or whatever.
-ly fucking painful
This is FIFA2012? I had figured they'd have an apocaypse edition where you had to avoid rivers of lava and acid rain pouring through holes in the roof of the stadium. You know, something to spice it up a bit.
And players will not notice the physics

Reminds me of a cheat for FIFA 2000 where an alien ship starts abducting players, and they just start running around the field.
who buys this crap

Who buys Half Life?
Because it's enjoyable, that's why. They finally added true injuries, shit's gonna be cash.

Except we don't see rehashed half life games ever six months like we do with Ea Sports.

fifa is really fun.
but they sure love to milk the series, but hey, so does CoD.
Oh yes, this will be another great year of fantastic face-offs with my friends.
Especially we all like other teams, Schalke, Bayern, Dortmund, love it.

Even though they've been adding more to the FIFA series since FIFA09, the game has improved loads since then. You make it sound like it's CoD.
