I've been getting into the Shadowrun Board Games recently. Is this turn based or what, is there some footage of the gameplay?
The guys behind Shadowrun Returns also hinted at Co-Op/Multiplayer in the future.
Last I heard this was going to use the standard "free to play with limitations" system, where apparently you need to buy the ability to use certain weapons and abilities, as well as possibly key items with actual money(I read this a good while ago, and back then no mention of if they were to be eventually unlockable through gameplay). Also, free players are supposed to have the lowest, if any impact on the overall storyline. Buying stuff piecemeal slightly improves your impact, paying for a premium account gives you the most impact.
I just hope this is better than Returns.

A lot of the issues with Returns has been fixed with the Dragonfall expansion.
