Yes, I have. To anyone who has Bioshock 2 and doesn't have Minerva's Den: GET IT! IT'S AMAZING! The gameplay is slightly more refined than Bioshock 2
i played it on release a while ago but i think it might have actually been way better than bioshock infinite. at least in my opinion and from what i remember
This is a few years late
i played it on release a while ago but i think it might have actually been way better than bioshock infinite. at least in my opinion and from what i remember
Infinite was arguably the worst Bioshock.
Funny how Steve Gaynor got like close to no recognition for being the writer and lead designer of Minerva's Den, but Gone Home somehow got him massive personal praise from every video game journalism this side of the universe. I guess Minerva's Den didn't have enough lesbian backstory.
Infinite was arguably the worst Bioshock.
Worst? I'd say it's arguable, sure. But I wouldn't say it's nearly as bad as it's made out to be.
I enjoyed all BioShock games (though not equally), and that's what matters to me.
I personally think Minerva's Den is the best thing to come out of the Bioshock series.
I would if they fixed the ridiculous sound issues in bioshock 2
Infinite was arguably the worst Bioshock.
Considering that all three bioshock games were great, this doesn't mean all that much
Considering that all three bioshock games were great, this doesn't mean all that much
I agree. What made it 'bad', which I don't agree with at all, is the way it was categorised by the joke that is the gaming media (journalism, award events etc.) as a shooter. It has guns, but the gunplay is solid in the most basic of terms.
Considering that all three bioshock games were great, this doesn't mean all that much
How about: Infinite was significantly worse than Bioshock 1.
I think someone at RPS googled "Minerva" and is going to be posting a "have you played" of every game with "Minerva" in the title.
Infinite was arguably the worst Bioshock.
arguably yeah. the whole setup of rapture having this impossibly advanced computer and all the themes with odds and probability and such was all way, WAY cooler than all that silly quantum mechanics stuff they tried to set up in infinite imho. cos when you boil it down, infinite's whole plot was basically about the game trying to retroactively fuck itself into the first game's continuity. like you have all these cool concepts flying around in the first two games and the initial parts of infinite, but all the stuff that happened towards the end of it is sitting in the back the whole time like "hey do you guys remember when i did string theory that time? and superpositions? and it was super lame and not cool at all? do you guys remember that? and elizabeth?"

K" and I put the game away
