I got cs portable, wondering what else, preferably a game with LAN multiplayer, as we have too much free time in 7th period after finishing the project, and yes, we're allowed to do this.
Halo:CE perhaps.
Halo Custom Edition. [editline]15th November 2012[/editline] aaaaaaaaaaaaa
We already have played that, not my cup of tea personally. Also games you can just boot up without installing are the best
Quake III Arena
Counter strike 1.6.
Half life 1, deathmatch classic, Starcraft, UT, TFC, Any Half-life 1 mods.
I was playing Binding of Isaac in my programming class once. Before I knew it, 5 other dudes wanted the game on a USB, and so we started having races through Isaac. It's fun as hell.
I think you can get Maplestory portable. It's not an official way I don't think, so I don't know if that would affect the risk of bans and such.
Quake III Arena was installed on all systems in our computer lab in high school. Every class I've had in the lab loved it, every once in awhile a few instructors would jump in for a match or two. We also had Halo CE installed later on, as well as Call of Duty 4, although COD4 took awhile to get working since we needed valid keys.
Doom I and II
Doom games
This. I was just about to come in here and say Zandronum. Doom 2 coop is so much fun.

We had CS:S a while ago, so I figure any othder/similar Valve games would work too.
Urban terror. It's kinda like counter strike but with wall-jumping, sprinting and other parkourish things.
Worms: Armageddon.
Get a few emulators, and load up a flash drive with metric buttfucktons of games. D-Fend (DOS), Nestopia (NES) are ones I'd recommend.

I think it was called Project64.
Yeah, that one's pretty good too. My school's IT guys got rid of T&L Hardware and also removed the video card drivers because some chumps were playing Minecraft too much. If that's not the case with you, get SWAT 4, Defcon, and YS Flight. My flash drive has Cataclysm (Zombie survival roguelike), Arvoesine (8-bit platformer, was $3 but was recently released free. Loads of fun), and Defcon on it.
Heroes of might and magic III.
Deus Ex runs fine on school computers as well.
Might and Magic III.
Fixed that for you. :) DOS games are the fucking best.
Imperialism 2
Dwarf Fortress. Small enough to fit on a flash drive, runs on anything (except with large maps) AND you can look like a 1337 h4ck3r while playing!
Quake 3 Arena for sure. Simple SP games like Not Tetris 2 and Mari0 are fun. Angry birds too (If you can find a PC version) Carma 2 should run, but might be buggy on Windows Vista/7/8. Emulators, bring a controller, maybe a few and play Mario Kart 64. [editline]15th November 2012[/editline] Age of Empires (incl. 3) should run easily, other RTS-s like Cossacks (Broken on W7, can't remember if it worked on Vista, but I think it did actually) Starcraft maybe? Midtown Madness 2 should fun. Terraria, if you can get it working. 3D Pinball needs to be kept on every memory stick ever (The one what was in XP :v:) I also have Plants vs. Zombies.
Carmageddon
I can't believe no one has mentioned Half Life 2. I'ts low spec and I'm currently able with as little 512 Megabytes RAM on my Raberry Pi with Raspbian.. And I know for a fact it can run on 128 Megabytes, what about the specs required Portal 2, I want to try out soon, but could use a second opinion?
It is not multiplayer but a NES emulator can be great for games at school off of a flashdrive. I used to play TMNT Manhattan Project in class a lot.
UT99
Evil Genius (might be heavy), Dungeon Keeper, Nightfire (runs perfectly on old school computers plus fun lan parties).
Tremulous.
