He wrote: "The Democrats are pushing for Universal HealthCare while thousands of people are marching in the UK because their U system is going broke and not working. "Dems want to greatly raise taxes for really bad and non-personal medical care. No thanks!"
It's funny because even in a fantasy-world where universal healthcare was 100% fundamentally broken, you'd just be on the American system. Anything better than 100% broken is instantly way better than American healthcare.

About 90% of people use it but if you really want to pay for private insurance you can still do that and yeah it will be better. It's your choice
Fuck me you know things are bad when Slimeball Supreme Jeremy Hunt says something I agree with. Trump is genuinely doing a fantastic job at keeping himself hated by all but the most insane members of our society.
Even the way Trump phrases it himself goes against what he's trying to say. "They're marching because the universal healthcare system is broken". Okay, so, they are mad that they don't have working universal healthcare?? Where the fuck did the Republican "it's flawed, therefore burn it to the ground" thought process come from?
boy if the UK system is a disaster wait until you hear about the US healthcare system!
Maybe stop trying your best to kill it and sell its corpse then Jeremy, you silly cunt.
Yeah maybe Americans don't realise this but the NHS is just the free option. It's your choice
But here's the thing; private healthcare here isn't a complete rip-off because the government regulates drug prices. I mean it's pricey, but it's not that bad, especially if you have insurance.
But the whole reason those people are marching is in protest of our healthcare being fucked by creeping privatisation? The system is considered "broken and not working" because the Tories are trying emulate healthcare in the US lmao "these people on Universal healthcare are protesting because they don't want a system like ours- that's why ours is best!"
Can trump go back to his isolationist America policy, I'd rather he not talk about how we're run and leave us out of his madness.
Can trump go back to his isolationist America policy, I'd rather he not talk about how we're run and leave us out of his madness.
Nah, maybe UK intelligence can vote in our elections, since we all know that Americans vote don't matter and its up to foreign governments to elect our politicians
my my, emperor trump is certainly leaving a shit on the world with his executive time today.

I'd be dead or bankrupt if I lived in the United States, as would the entirety of my immediate family. That's all I really need to say about this, I think.
I'd be dead or bankrupt if I lived in the United States, as would the entirety of my immediate family. That's all I really need to say about this, I think.
I'd be under mountains of debt had I not moved to the UK when I did. Within a few months, I was hospitalised for 3 weeks for a condition that has no known cause, meaning I'd have been screwed for life because of a seemingly random health issue. Even with my parent's (very good) insurance back in the US, the bills for my stay and the followup treatment would've been immense. I've paid several NHS surcharges for my visas, as well as NI tax since moving here, but the combination of them doesn't even come remotely close to the cost in the US.
Costs are so bad here that poor individuals would rather suffer through it than actually seek treatment
Ive heard of cases where people would rather let treatable diseases kill them than risk financially burdening their family with medical debt. Thats something that no one in a first world country shoud ever have to deal with.
http://www.who.int/healthinfo/paper30.pdf UK healthcare system, ranked 18th in the world. US healthcare system, ranked 37th in the world. Really all that needs to be said about that.
Costs are so bad here that poor individuals would rather suffer through it than actually seek treatment
What's worse, people try to do self-treatment on things that really should have professional medical attention to avoid the debt.
Shut the fuck up Jeremy you virtue signalling cunt, you're actively trying to dismantle our healthcare service and emulate the fucked up mess that's the US system instead. Stop trying to mask your corporate facade as supporting the NHS because you're doing everything in your fucking power to demolish it. "NHS might have it's challenges" Yeah because you continue to bottleneck the services and stretch doctors to their limits, put them on the poverty line and overwork them, freeze their pay and give executives pay rises. Everything you've done betrays the ideals of our nation you slimy corporate bumfuck. "At least we're not them!!!" is bullshit when you're trying everything in your power to become them. ree
just a reminder that the only reason trump said this today is because he was watching fox and friends and farage was talking about the NHS
just a reminder that the only reason trump said this today is because he was watching fox and friends and farage was talking about the NHS
This is both sad and funny. What did that cunt have to say anyway? I can't find a video of it at all Found it, if anyone else wants to know what he said https://youtu.be/5p3CMTDHL08
just a reminder that the only reason trump said this today is because he was watching fox and friends and farage was talking about the NHS
Trump's real daily briefings. Pathetic and worrying.
Oh man. That fuckin' dickhole. Trump's an asshole but this dickhole is trying to be proud of the NHS while actively fucking it over by stifling funding and more and then blaming it on the NHS itself. Fuckin' Tories.
Costs are so bad here that poor individuals would rather suffer through it than actually seek treatment
There was a story last week of someone who won the lottery in the US, and then used part of the money to finally see a doctor. He found out he had cancer and died a few days later. I'm glad I don't live in a country where someone literally has to win the lottery to get medical attention.
US here, I've had coworkers tell me, when they're obviously not well, that they cannot afford to call off to see a doctor. It's really sad.
Well would you look at that? Jeremy Hunt hates Donald Trump more than he hates the NHS! Fun!
I can't tell if you're being serious or not.
Here are some prices for private health insurance in the UK (source)
Nah, maybe UK intelligence can vote in our elections, since we all know that Americans vote don't matter and its up to foreign governments to elect our politicians
I mean, if we're using christopher steele as an example (previous MI6 agent) then "UK intelligence" cared more about meddling in your elections then your own political parties or intelligence but i feel the latter probably was forced to not care by the former here
