Basically, name some foods that you really enjoyed as a kid that you cannot figure out why you enjoyed or vice-versa. For me, I used to LOVE bugles, but now, I can't even eat one of them without feeling sick.

If they wouldn't be so damn expensive I could live solely on bugles :v: For me it has to be those poppy noodles. I loved them when I was a kid but only eat them now when there's nothing else to eat.
Same with me for Bugles. Also fritos, most types of chips, and all seafood.
When I was younger I used to enjoy salami. Around when I turned 13 I just stopped liking it. Due to the fact that I had Peanut Butter And Jelly for lunch almost everyday during Elementary and Middle School, the thought of grape jelly/jam makes me nauseous. Never really cared for Tofu. A few months ago I decided to give Hot And Sour Soup another chance in honor of my mother who loved the stuff(the place where we get it makes it with a shitload of tofu in it). It actually wasn't bad. i mean, I'm not running to keep tofu stocked at all times but it wasn't bad.
As a kid, I hated sour cucumbers. I love them to this day.
I used to hate onions and certain cheeses such as Brie when I was younger, Now I love them.
For some reason I liked Seafood. Ew...
I hated dr pepper as a kid. Now I fucking love the stuff.
I loved eating canned beets, i don't hate them now but i just don't eat them anymore.
macaroni & cheese w/[sp]ketchup[/sp]
I used to be the fussiest shit in the world, my typical meal was either chicken dippers and chips, or pasta with ketchup. Literally just pasta, and ketchup. Looking back on it, and thinking about how much I'll eat nowadays (I'm still fussy, but nowhere near as much- there's pretty much always something I'll eat on a menu), I don't know how I survived on such a pitiful diet.
Loved soda and potato chips as a kid, can't stand them now. Actually, since I've "grown up" I don't really like sweets almost at all, except for peanut butter (and even then I vastly prefer unsweetened)
Macaroni and Cheese. Pickles. Bananas. The list goes on.
Home-fried fish cakes. As a kid my grandmother would cook me two of these almost every day for tea after school because they were god damn delicious. These days I don't like them from any source.
i used to love dark chocolate but now it makes me want to vomit
Bologna, that was the shit when I was a kid, but now I puke at the thought of eating that stuff.
When I was younger I used to enjoy salami. Around when I turned 13 I just stopped liking it.
i too used to like salami as a kid, but one day i was playing with a bunch of dirt in the school playground (hey, it was with friends) and when i went to the canteen to eat my lunch, for some reason i didn't wash my hands, so my salami was covered with gritty crunchy pieces of dirt understandably i got super queasy from this and as a result i am now super averse to either eating salami or shoving soil in my mouth
I can't eat most sweet things anymore. The more sugar in it, the more I loved it as a kid and the worse it makes me feel to eat now. I tried eating a chocolate cake yesterday and it made me lightheaded.
Coffee.
when I was a kid, I was in love with stuffed crust pizza from pizza hut then when i was like 14, I HATED it for some reason now I love it again
As a small child I used to hate pickles, and remember asking for them to be removed from my burgers when I would get McDonalds. Now It's not uncommon for me to get a plate with just pickles on it as a snack. Went through a phase for a couple years where I could not stand pizza, due to being mislead by a particularly shoddy domino's joint, and shitty school pizza. Can't stand any of my mother's cooking anymore. It's not her fault, I'm just a picky as fuck eater. I do my own cooking nowadays.
hated mac and cheese when I was younger still hate it
Vice-versa? Used to hate any type of seafood to the point of gagging when I was a kid. Now, canned boneless salmon is fucking snack heaven to me
I used to hate tuna as a kid, now I can't get enough of the stuff.
I use to love Orange Soda now I hate it.
Lima beans. As a kid, they were vile. As an adult, they're a treat. Especially when cooked with ham.
I loved raisins as a kid. Now i hate them.
I hated all fish and seafood. Now I can't believe the wide range of good I've been missing out on!
Used to hate mustard with a passion, now i can't get enough of it. I loved ketchup as a kid though, put it on anything and it was edible. It's the polar opposite now, put ketchup on it, and it's fucking poison to me. I can handle ketchup and mustard together, but god fuck straight ketchup.
I used to get sick consistently if I ever ate Cheez-Its. It might not have even been the Cheez-its, just be being sick in general. It made me stay away from them for at least five years.
