I don't know where I can put this thread, this place seems to be the most fitting one.
Anyways, I'm having this problem in GTA V since I ran it on safe mode because a mod crashed my game.

I tried switching it from directx 11 to 10, upgrading amd video drivers, messing up with game settings. But no one of these worked.
I have to admit my pc can run this game at low/mid settings but I never had this kind of graphical problem before.
Any help? I already tried asking on steam community hub and the gta thread here on fp. but no luck
Try renaming "C:\Users\Username\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V" to something else and launch the game, see if it helps.

This is mainly because you said it worked previously, resetting all that data should hopefully bring it back to that state.

It fixed the black squares between interior doors/windows, but about the draw distance, is still glitched
This all worked when you first played the game?

Yeah. I finished this game story without any problems
Hmm.. If you reset the game then there's not much I can recommend. Have you modified your system hardware at all since it worked?

I'm already re-downloading it, hope that fixes it. Never touched my system hardware so far.
I'll post if there is any problems after the download is done
This happened to me once, but it turned out my drivers were 1.5 years old, and didn't like the AMD shadow smoothing setting.
I finished re-downloading my game, the problem still there.
I have no clue how to fix it, guess this problem is unfixable unless R* makes a patch for it. :suicide:
change the Direct x from what it is (either 10/ 10.1 / 11 ) to another option. a driver update fixes this alltogether and also turning some AA stuff off in CCC fixes this
After upgrading to windows 8.1 and updating amd video drivers it fixed this issue.
I guess it was a video driver problem after all.
Thanks you guys for the help!
Sorry for thread hijacking but what are you guys usually temps in gta v?
My cpu is at 70-80c I'm kind of afraid (using intel stock cooler, because the custom one is fucking huge and can't fit in my case) gpu is at around 50-65c
The game is running completely fine, but I don't like that its slowly killing my PC considering the console versions definitely don't have that problem.

Those temps are perfectly fine for the stock cooler
