So, my Fatality headset decided to be shit and break on one side and now I'm looking for a new one.
Can anyone recommend one that sounds good and is not USB? I don't really want to spend more than £50.
you bough a fatal1ty product? They always brand shitty products with that name.
hmm, not sure what a good one is. ill look and ill brb
I'm actually in the exact same situation - mine are breaking too, and I'm looking for a new one.
Shit nevermind

Yes, I chose them at random, just trying to help...
Are the Plantronics GameCom 377's any good?

No it's just you and being careless with possessions. I've had mine for a very long time and they are great.

Yep, those are pretty comfy.
And as far as I know, Plantronics specialize on the microphone side of things which is a plus. Another thing is that the max volume isn't that loud, but it doesn't really matter to be honest. :)
My fatal1ty headset broke too, contact error with the 3.5mm plug so that the left cup goes silent sometimes

The highest volume is very loud.. I usually have it between the first and second bar.
I have the Plantronics 355 ($10 cheaper and looked better imo). The sound might not be the absolute best, but it's pretty good and the mic is great.

I meant they are overpriced, my bad.

Hack that bitch off and solder a new plug on.
I once pulled the wire too hard of my fatal1ty headset, and it broke at the point where the wire splits for the two plugs. Some careful solder work and a lot of ducktape later, it was working again :)
Mine hurts. Probably because I have glasses on. Love it for the rest though.
I wish they had 90 degree angle plug rather than straight one

I agree with this, I have this and it's awesome. I've had mine years and the sound quality both in the headphones and that received by the mic are brilliant.

The headset I have is just under £30 and bloody brilliant.
Your bad x2
soldered the plug twice for my fatality, it's good.
brotip : if it is a gaming brand product it does not mean it's shit.
I ordered this off eBay on Sunday. If it works as good as the reviews say it does, I recommend the Sony MDR-V6. Although the break-in period is one to two months of on-and-off use, it is very comfortable afterward.
