I've been having problems with my desktop lately. I built it 3 months ago and reused my PCI wireless card from my prebuilt.
Now 2 and a half months later I drop connection while my laptop connects just fine.
Do I need a new PCI card?
Pretty much, a direct ethernet connection would be a better alternative though.

I'm too far away to connect, but could you reccomend me a wireless card? Should I just get Asus?
I've been very happy with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320074
It's PCIe, but iirc you have an MSI Z87-G41, so you should be fine.
