I'm only 15 years old, but I could honestly say that childhood were the best years of my life so far. No responsibility, no worries, carefree days. Time went by slower back then. Ah...
The best time was 8-13 years old. I lived in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Ah, the memories. My dad had a well playing job back then. We used to go out every Saturday to restaurants and the movies, or places just downtown. I used to play baseball in the park with my dad every Sunday. I also went over to my Italian neighbor's house each Sunday for homemade pasta. They were a cute little old Italian couple that lived across from us. (We lived in an apartment). Every weekend when we went out we would listen to Oldies radio (50s, 60s, 70s).
Now I moved 700 miles away from my dad (to my mom's hometown) because my dad lost his job 2 1/2 years ago. He lives with his brother who's house is being foreclosed. I miss him. I wish I could go back in time to the good times when I was young. Christmas parties with my families, hot fourth of Julys...
So Facepunch, do you miss your childhood?
Meh
You missed fast threads
Everything goes by so much faster. I hate perception of time increase with age it's fucking bullshit.
I wish I could go back with the knowledge I have now, and be a complete sex monster and genius.
:(
Yeah I miss mine. I could come home care free and play on my PS2, climb some trees, come home 5 minutes late etc etc.
Most of Facepunch is still in theirs.
15? You're still a child.
More than anything. Cartoons were so much better.
This is like your 4th thread today but whatever
Yes I miss my childhood because that's when videogames were fun cartoons rocked and it was before bush was president.
Who doesn't? Who wouldn't love to be able to go back to a time when your biggest responsibilities in life were a few chores, making sure you caught your favourite cartoons and calling on your friends to play, and candy?
It was before I knew about all the crazy shit and porn on the internet.
The time before I had an xbox.
Good times.
9-13?
Man go back even way further. N64 and PS2.
Man those were the times, not having to worry about anything.

Childhood is innocence. I am not innocent anymore.
"Follow me, follow me I'm the leader
And when I park cars I don't pay for the meter
I remember I was younger as a kid it was the best
I used touch on all the pretty girls at recess
I'm at my peak yes, I won't leave yet
Serial style, cereal aisle need chex."
Chiddy Bang "Opposite of Adults" I agree with Mr Chiddy Bang, this life is a party better live it up.

Apparently there's an unwritten rule that says you can only post one thread per day.
I'm still in second grade, dude.

I failed once or twice.
I miss my childhood, most of it's the same, but I still miss it.
Life moves on OP, of course you miss the past but you should have fun now.
I kinda miss it and kinda don't
Life was simpler back then, and one can argue that a simple life is an enjoyable life. However, with age comes more opportunities to have insane amounts of fun, so it's a trade-off between guaranteed fun for the potential to have a lot more fun.
I've had a nice childhood. While I do miss a lot of it, I realize that moving on gives me new opportunities.
You're 15 years old... You're still a child. You can't be talking about the 'good ol' years' just quite yet...

"i walked in on my mother and stepfather"
and anyway
–noun, plural chil·dren. 1.a person between birth and full growth; a boy or girl: books for children.
More than anything. I would do unspeakable things to not know what "sex" is or anything. Just to be 5 years old again and to have my innocence back...just to live back in 1999 just one more time.
Just one more time...
I never really had a childhood... it was plagued by isolation, bullying, and wasted on a fucking computer... my best friends moved away when I was in the third grade and I never made new friends until my senior year of high school, which was also the first time I socialised with other people outside of school. :saddowns:
Hell yeah I do, I miss the times when I had no obligations, was happy and optimistic all the time, and watched great cartoons and played with my friends. These days I have shitloads of work to do, sometimes I'm either depressed or just angry and stressed of how things are going atm or when I'm starting to worry of the future and whatever other things a 18 year old can think about.
While I didn't have a bad upbringing by any means, I don't miss childhood. Zero self-esteem wasn't fun.
