Should've called it Ghost Recon: Mildlands. Because that shit's boring.
1. Ubisoft made it so it's fucking garbage.
1. Ubisoft made it so it's fucking garbage.
Rainbow Six Siege
Rainbow Six Siege
1 out of 20 ain't bad I guess :v:
1 out of 20 ain't bad I guess :v:
You're right.
1. Ubisoft made it so it's fucking garbage.
Uhhh when was the last time a Ubisoft game was "garbage"? I certainly can't remember it. I can remember plenty that were just very mediocre, but none that were garbage.

I mean we could just talk about their terrible technical issues in regards to optimization and especially netcode. Even Siege still has issues with hit detection and that blatant peek advantage.
Rainbow Six Siege
That's Ubisoft Montreal. Take a quick look at what Paris has done these past 8 years and come back and everything'll make sense. [Sp]I hope you're prepared for a ton of Just Dance [/sp] [editline]12th March 2017[/editline]
None of those are terrible, they're all just very aggressively mediocre.
I'd say Future Soldier is fucking garbage. I had fun playing Watch_Dogs, I wanted to die while playing Future Soldier. E: And tbh I'd say Watch_Dogs hate is mostly bandwagon. I had more fun playing it than I did GTAV, even if the storyline managed to be worse and I hated the main character. Maybe it's because I didn't care about its graphics and I didn't pay attention to it at release, I dunno.
Watch_Dogs 2 is pretty fucking good. I still play it from time to time and I'm barely halfway through the story mode.
Steep was fun when I played the beta. Reminded me of Amped mixed with a little bit of SWS. Siege seems alright and Grow Home was cool. Everything else is strictly mediocre at best and you're kidding your self if you think otherwise.
I was fine with the article up until they brought up this article. What kind of manbaby writers do they have at PCGamer?

The original is Ubisoft Montpellier, which is responsible for the entire Rayman series and Beyond Good and Evil.
Should've called it Ghost Recon: Mildlands. Because that shit's boring.
I'm enjoying it.
So helmets do jack shit in Wildlands but in The Division, a beanie can withstand about 50 rounds. Ubisoft. :ok:
Different genres Same reason why a knight in For Honor can take a ton of hits whilst in AC, an agile dude with a wrist knife can massacre an entire fortress of heavily armored knights with 1 combo streak Honestly i dont understand the division comparisons with wildlands, did people not get the memo that wildlands isnt a loot based arpg with damage sponges and loot explosions?
It's not the genre thing that people are comparing, it's the settings. Both are meant to be realistic environments and guns, and people shooting eachother while being part of the same brand name of Tom Clancy which was known for tough, realistic action games up until the 360/PS3 generation. And Wildlands even returns to some of that despite being ridiculous conceptually. But shooting some random looter in the head with a gun apparently has him flinch as blood flows from his skull before he starts shooting back like nothing happened in The Division. For a game that tries to have the player play tactically since being outnumbered means it's really easy to die, the enemies taking so much damage because of arbitrary levels didn't sit well with anyone. It's like if Borderlands gave you real guns outfitted with a ludicrous amount of attachments and variants, was played fairly realistic and straight instead of whacky and batshit insane, and had you shooting regular people with assault rifles and shotguns, only for those regular people to shrug off most of the wounds like they're Wolverine because they're a few levels higher than you and then kill you in seconds because of statistic differences. It's jarring and jams a bloody nail into the setting, any idea of brand consistency, and any sort of attempt at immersing the player in it.
So helmets do jack shit in Wildlands but in The Division, a beanie can withstand about 50 rounds. Ubisoft. :ok:
Because Wildlands isn't a lootshooter.
