I live in England by the way, I grew very nice bud last year using the outdoor method!
I already have. Three Sativas got planted 2 days ago. I'm a complete newbie so not sure how long they'll take to grow. I didn't get perlite, used 1/3 peat 2/3 thermiculite, anyone with experience tell me if that's a fair substitute?
gonna build a greenhouse :xd:
Planting some more soon
Oh poor me.
Since I have to grow outside I have to wait for last week of April. At the moment average temperature is 10C. And its frost in night.
Poor me.
looks like your gettin purps XD
I could use some tips to be honest. It's an outside grow.
Anyone give me advice on fertilizer and other care?
By the end of April, not yet.
Damn, I think it's smart thing to alert my friends about this :D.
Once I get my medical card i'm going to grow.
if only i had this house to myself :(

Last year I used just soil and pots (not even neutrients), altogether I got a yield of at leased 1 and 1/2 oz of decent bud from 2 plants.. not bad I say

When the plant is about 10in tall, re-pot to an inch above the 2 small round leaves at the bottom..
No need for fertiliser mate!.. Although it'll probably increase your yield.. use Bio Bizz
When the plants are nice and big remove the fan leaves (the bigger leaves) that are atached under the node where the budded stem if growing off..

I'm not growing them in pots, I'm growing them in the ground
I plan on growing a small plant indoor just to see how far I get with it since I've never actually grown marijuana before.

It's really easy man.. grow it outdoor instead! You'll have a better experience of growing it and the weed would be better quality!

I can't tell if you're being serious or not.
This thread makes me happy i'm besties with a grower

I read somewhere that there is no real substitute for real sunlight and that bud grows better with it. Maybe that's what he's talking about
Interesting, but I don't need to grow. My Dad already does.
someone should make a hydroponic outdoor grow op, that would be like the best bud ever with massive yields.

I'm deadly 'cereal' ! trust me mate.. did it last year, doing it this year
there's no way outdo can turn out as good as indo
but then again, what the fuck do I know about growing?
There's some good outdoor. Depends on the grower, but indoor is still better IMO.

Haha ok I thought you were being sarcastic or something. Well either way that's the deal! I'm growing in door weed. Just need the right equipment. Hopefully it ain't a whole lot.
Indoor is obviously better as long as you aren't using terrible lights or anything
If a plant is under optimal conditions outdoors the opportunities are endless, really.
Well, I think it depends how you grow indoors and how you grow outdoors.
If you compare outdoors to indoors, you have to take into account, that you have to add supplements into indoor, and do all artificially. But outdoors, nature can in most cases, do all by itself, you just water it and add some minerals by time to time if needed.
There's of course a huge risk of being seen outdoors. I know people who've been nicked 'cuz their plants were outdoors and neighbours reported it.
And those people must've been mentally invalid for growing illegal plants in plain sight to their law-abiding neighbors. If you live in an area where there are woods etc. you should take advantage of it, but if not you may want to reconsider growing outdoors.
you can control environmental factors to make it ideal for growing weed if you grow it indoors. You can grow it at anytime of the year too.
oh yea, and less pest problems indoors.
