hello, I have recently downloaded an application called steam, and in steam you have different games to buy, download and play, but for some reason every time I try to play on any game in steam (This may be the same with other games that are not from steam) and after about 3 - 6 mins my laptop makes a very weird sound, the screen green for about 2 seconds and then shuts off. I have tried decreasing the graphics by changing screen size and using a lower resolution, that normally increases the playing time to about 6 - 10 mins, but it still crashes.
If you need any thing about my laptop then please say and I will tell you the details requested and please if you have a solution, then comment.

offtopic: i find it funny that you write about what steam is, I'm pretty sure that almost every member on this forum has a steam account.
Temperatures? Might be overheating.
