Which of these two laptops should I buy for College?

Just got my paycheck today and I finally have enough for a laptop for college. But, I can't decide between these two laptops:

I will be using it mostly for web browsing, writing papers, etc. and occasionally playing L4D and TF2.
I am also open to suggestions for better laptops on Newegg, but my budget is only about $750 USD.
Thanks.
First one is a load better, but you could do a lot better for $750.
I don't see the second one playing Team Fortress 2 with an intel integrated.

That's what my friend does, and he has over 200 hours of TF2 logged. And he's not half bad.
But, I am leaning a lot more to the Acer, better performance, bigger hard drive, etc.
I bet you could find a laptop with something better than a 9500M for $750 or less.

How could I do a lot better? Care to link a better one please?

Just looked on Newegg, couldn't really find anything better for the price.

pretty sure this will give you the best performance in your price range

ill keep looking
Thanks for the input guys.
I've decided on the very first one, mostly because better ones would be too heavy and cumbersome.
Get a mac.
:downs:
That's hip for them college kids, amirite?
well the new MacBooks do play the source games very well :downs:
but using bootcamp for games isn't really worth it since u have to reboot from Leopard to Windows to do your work then play games... I'm only doing this till I get my PC (around x-mas since I'll have more money and hopefully the new stuff is out)

"oh hey nice mac what you doFFLRGLERAGE"
What are you taking in college? It DOES matter.
If it's a math-heavy subject you'll need to write a lot of formulas and charts, which is impossible without a tablet.
Or that paper stuff I've been hearing about.

good luck having 4 FPS with a laptop that actually weighs more than the best one posted (my first one).

what the fuck is up with you people saying "it weighs too much" I mean come on. You can't carry a 6 pound laptop?

A regular computer works fine, you just need the right programs.
