This has been a problem I've had for the past two or three days. It's just been depressing me no matter what I do. I've tried thinking about other things, but it just seems like every time I finally get it off my mind it just pops back up a couple of minutes later.
Any tips, anyone?
Watch Commando. Seeing a lot of people die in ridiculous ways might ease the thought of death.
Why?
When you die you go to heaven and all your dead relatives are there and its an infinite orgasm.

Lol I actually may.
Death isn't necessarily painful, if that's what you're worried about.
Commit suicide.
Bullets seem to work.
Watch porn.

Die,you won't think of death, you'll actually be dead.
Problem solved:smug:
Dunno. I have the same problem. I just think about what sucks in my life and then the feeling goes away. :smug:
Start thinking about if you really exist, and there is no way to prove that you exist or not.

Think about life
watch sitcoms
hang out with friends in a fairly calm area
bacon overload
vidya
act stupid
I don't get it, do you think about death in a way of "I want to die" or "I am afraid of dying"?
If it's the latter just take it this way - you'll die sooner or later no matter what, better focus on how you live your life rather be afraid of the inevitable. This way you'll achieve more while you're alive.
Iv'e had a similar problem, an uncontrollable fear of what if something might happen. I forced myself to realize that being afraid of that I'm wasting my life, which contradicts the point of being afraid of not being alive.
If it's the first option seek psychological and psychiatric help.
Play the game of LIFE

Cheer up, Reactors. You know what they say. Some things in life are bad. They can really make you mad. Other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristle, Don't grumble. Give a whistle. And this'll help things turn out for the best. And...

When your mind is almost in a sleep state 5 minutes can seem like hours. Who's to say that the 10 minutes your brain survives after death cannot feel like an eternety?
There you go.
A lobotomy will solve all your thinking problems.
Go hunting.
Controlling death can often ease the stress of it. :eng101:
