Here I will store all my Animations I have done in the program called Anim8or.
I, personally, find it a good program to use in case you need an animation done quickly, or just to toy around with.
So far I have [2] animations, with a total AVI-File time of 21 seconds.
My most recent animation is called "Rats Escape".
Rats Escape - 30 minutes to make - 399 Frames.

Man drinks from Cup - 40 minutes to make - 120 Frames.

C&C is welcome. If you don't have anything constructive to say, :dogout:.
Point out errors, that could be handy tips in future animations.
Before you all comment "Get 3DS Max you faggot!" - I have already tried Blender. I didn'thave the correct resources to run it. When I downloaded the 3DS Max trial It said I required a CD Key - which I didn't have. I'll stick with Anim8or until I find something better.
Lol.
But on a more serious note, this isn't called a collection it's two gifs that you made.
Also, the gif is horrible, the objects are too plain and the animations are pathetic.
Flying mouse
what is this i don't even

3dsmax will probably have the same system requirements, if not higher
You have a very loose grasp of the concept of gravity, fluid animation, and camera placement.
The animation is shaky, theres clipping, i dont like the camera in the second one. Models are flat and lifeless.
He isn't flying. It's supposed to be Slow-motion.
Couldn't think of a better way to make it.
Actually, the minimum system requirements for blender are:

300 MHz CPU

128 MB Ram

20 MB free hard disk Space

1024 x 768 px Display with 16 bit color

3 Button Mouse

Open GL Graphics Card with 16 MB Ram
so I don't know how you couldn't run it

Reason the animation is shaky is because I converted them to GIF. Half of the frames are missing then :(

Hmm... That's odd?
I have 0.98GB RAM , 100GB free disk space, and 1.6 (x2?) GHz CPU =/
It lagged anyway.
[editline]05:57PM[/editline]
Actually, wait... I have inbuilt graphics card, so I guess that would be the problem.
Anim8or, lol.
I kinda liked the rat's escape, if you just put a little more time in it make it more lively, and render in higher quality so that it doesn't grain.
Open GL isn't a type of graphics card. He means that your graphics card has to support Open GL. Which it will. Also, you don't need a product key for the max trial. You can just skim right through without one.

How can you like it? Cheese is a triangle.
These aren't very good. The objects are too plain, the animation isn't great, the gif quality is horrible, etc

I use MS GIF Animator
Anyway, I'm uploading the AVI files in a WinRAR Library. Those aren't grained and have the original "speed" (no lag).

Running HL1 in OpenGL mode makes cursor movement laggy as hell.

MS GIF Animator doesn't like High-Quality images.
70 minutes wasted that could've been spent learning a superior modelling program.. oh well..
Edit:
Wait, you can't run HL1 in OpenGL? Your PC must be absolute shite.
Here are the original AVI-Files:

I'm not to interessted right now in getting another 3D Modelling program. Maybe later on.

Ehhhh I wouldn't bother uploading the AVI files.
Also, you know you could use Photoshop to animate the gifs right?
And here's a preemtive post:
Can't afford photoshop? Download the trail from adobe.com
Can't run photoshop? My 5 year old laptop can run Photoshop.
Don't know how to use it? Google "Making GIF with photoshop"
etc etc

Actually no =/
Thanks for the tip.
Yeah you can run Half-Life in openGL EASILY, I could run that shit on laptops when it came out (16 years ago) and you can run photoshop, there's no point in making excuses about your computer.
Oh, thank God it's a netbook, I would've cried if it was a PC going at that level.
To test this I'm going to install the max 2010 trial on MY netbook. Too bad it doesn't have a disc tray and I'm too lazy to burn the .iso from the max cd I have (that's completely legal for anyone wondering)

I guess it depends on what netbook you have.
Also when Max 2010 asked for the CD Key, I couldnt click next. It kept saying "Invalid CD-Key".
Where did you download this trial?

The good people at Autodesk (3dsmax creators) require you to sign up to download the demo and provide you with a demo activation key via email. Try it that way.
Where did you download this trial?
On their site :b

Oh yeah. My bad.
I just used the key that's on the back of my case and forgot I did.
[editline]11:25AM[/editline]
Or no wait cd's don't require keys :buddy:

Didn't work :(
It's like looking back into the past, like the intro scene to silicon valley for the N64. Can't say I like it, but hey, but I have never tried it.
I'm thinking of making a longer video, maybe 2 minutes long, with a lot of toy soldiers or something? :D
