http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/argentina-special-prosecutor-found-fatally-shot-at-his-home/ar-AA8kYuQ?ocid=ansnewsap11 BUENOS AIRES — A special prosecutor who had accused Argentine President Cristina Fernandez of ordering impunity for Iranian suspects in the South American country's worst terrorist attack was found shot dead, authorities said Monday.
Alberto Nisman, who was set to testify Monday in a closed-door hearing, was found in the bathroom of his Buenos Aires apartment late Sunday, federal prosecutor Viviana Fein told Telam, Argentina's official news agency.
Good old political corruption at it's finest.
sadly, im not surprised :(
Damn, I didn't realise Argentina was "military dictator" levels of corrupt.

You'd be surprised. This fucking dumbass we have for a president is just making things worse each time, and I'm really worried because this is an electoral year and all of the candidates are or used to be peronists, and every peronist government in this country has been a horrible failure since Perón himself. I'm really worried because the economy is crashing down aswell and there's nothing we can do, and of course, the next president is going to get blamed when the consequences from this government start to be felt FOR REAL.
Wow, I never thought they'd be willing to go this far
What the fuck, Christina
quick, remind the population about muh malvinas to distract them

And cue your new government using the Falklands as a distraction for their many many problems?
I've read that police reports indicate it as a suicide. Apparently there aren't any witnesses either.
I call it bullshit. I don't know much about the man but he didn't seemed depressed nor had problems with money or health.
A suicide before he was to testify about his investigation into government corruption. Not very likely.

Money changes hands, someone with power whispers in a coroners ear and suddenly this happy man that was willing to testify becomes depressed and ends his life. Corruption at its finest.
These people do not give a single fuck about who gets in their way.

actually they said that it "seemed suicide, but also mentioned that the gun wasn't his, and they weren't discounting murder".
No gunpowder traces on his hands either. He posted a picture of what he was working on and sent it to the VP of DAIA (the jewish mutual) on whatsapp. He even left a list of things to buy for today to one of his employees. It doesn't look like a man who's killing himself.
There were some large protests last night, lots of people asking for justice.
And then there's this asshole, Alex Freyre, one of many Cristina's cuntlickers, posted this on twitter:

Alex Freyre seems to be a complete dumbass.
He's literally saying "we told you so" right after a 'mysterious' death.
He may as well have left a business card at the scene of the crime that said "THE GOVERNMENT DIDN'T DO THIS - Lexay Reyrefay".

Yep, definately a suicide, just like that former spy who was found crumpled up in a duffel bag in his bath with the padlocks on the outside, in a completley cleaned out flat, was just practising at being houdini gone was and no suspicious circumstances at all!

Wasn't there also a story where a guy was said to have pad-locked himself in a duffel bag and then dropped into a river?

Yeah there was, though I can't find a source for that one.
The bathtub one though is definately suspicious, conflict between police report and coroner, dna of him not found ont he exterior of the bag, and other stuff.

Argentina has suffer a lot in history, this seems really bad (sorry if there is something way worse, I admit, I do not have a wide knowledge of the country) but why? How something as dirty and despicable as this could even be conceived? When someone tries to hide the truth for his own personal agenda, he is not to be trusted, but when your own goverment is trying to do so. What then?
And as a side note. It is true about the "Falklands" as a scape goat for their problems?
This wild ride just got wilder, I guess the current govt realized they don't have a lot of time left anyway so they might as well start doing the really awful, public shit before everything comes crumbling down (which it has, lately. have I mentioned our vicepresident cannot stop importing cars illegally and binding them to fake identities, presumably living in empty sandlots)
It's not like the news will linger on too long, since every news channel here is on a downright fucking disgusting 24-hour for-ratings news cycle that gives random crimes entirely too much screentime.
QEPD, Nisman. You were definitely not the first one.

Heh. :v:
Could he not just have realised how terribly wrong he was and killed himself to avoid further embarrassment to Based de Kirchner?
Hahahahaha
All the fucking assholes supporting the government and the President ignoring the obvious:
-It was stated by the Head of Cabinet that the door was locked from the inside
->The locksmith said the door wasn clearly not locked.

-There was no other way to enter the apartment
->The service door (Apartments in that area, which is uncommon in others of Capital, have more than 1 access), which connects the dept. with the garage and staircases was open the whole time..
Plus it seems there is a small passage connecting Nisman's department to the one next to it. Does it rings any bells to you?
-Berni (The Head of Security) didn't touch anything and there is no problem with him being there.
->Well, Berni fist of all isn't a fucking cop, he's a minister, and as such, has no police duties. Plus, why he was there inside before everyone, including forensics and the other prosecutor?
Geez, I'm sure that with the stupid blind people we have, which must be around 30% of the voters, the investigation will never discover what happened.

Both Venezuela and Argentina seem to be going rapidly downward, and that's a good part of South America.
Its kinda weird because i though Argentina was actually in good condition instead of being a political shit hole.
