There's a difference between reverence and idolism. The Shiite sect of Islam is another story, they idolize their Sheikhs. But Sunni Muslims don't. I just say this because I feel like shedding the little bit of truth I can on the religion is beneficial. Islam is not all bad (just like other religions out there, you always have the good and the bad), but the general consensus is that Islam is the worst religion - when it isn't, it just has the largest uneducated following which tends to bring rise to extremists. I feel there are some flaws with the religion, and I'm fine when people discuss that. It's just when people comment on things that aren't actually true, that's when I pipe up.
