I've decided that to virtualise Windows 7 on my MacBook because I'm fed up with having to reboot whenever I want to do something different. I have Visual Studio on my Boot Camp for programming and CS4 on Mac for graphics stuff and hate it when I have to reboot because I need to make an image to go into a program.
I've tried VirtualBox but hate the fact that it doesn't support aero (and Windows 7 without aero is horrible). So I'm looking into VMware Fusion and Parallels Desktop but don't know which to go for. Do the people of Facepunch have any experience with the 2 or any suggestions.
I'm going to try the trials for both of them anyway but if there are any major reasons to avoid either of them or any reasons to get one over the other I would love to know.
I prefer VMWare Fusion but honestly it's all personal preference. Both are pretty much equally good.
I use VMWare but let me tell you, using Aero in fusion mode was a trainwreck last I used it. It looks REALLY out of place and windows classic performed better (my mac being a laptop). Fusion also has the cool feature of being to mount Bootcamp (so you can still boot into it, but you can also boot it from inside osx if you want to do something as well). I don't know of Parallels does that, but its a neat feature when it works.

Parallels does do that :)
