How many fucking times is Spiderweb Software going to remake Exile 3.
I love it but seriously, I'd just as well play the original than any of the remakes. Honestly I think the graphics, especially the portraits look way worse than the original pixel art.

It's kind of a shame, I really prefer the gameplay of the previous versions since the new ones are more streamlined which gives less creative options for characters in my opinion.

Same. Part of Exile 3's charm was the ridiculous amount of spells, some useless in most situations.
I haven't played through the latest versions far enough to know, but really my only complaint with Exile 3 was that some of the later quests seemed designed to sell hint books, and relied way too much on the secret passage gimmick so you had to run into every wall just in case.
I notice the Steam page offers a hint book for sale, so I have a feeling they haven't made it any better.
