Title says it all. I'll be around from the 1st to the 9th of February. I do know I will be going to First Friday with some of the friends I've made there already, but surely there's more. Anyone a local, or been there in the past? What did, or do you do for fun?
Thank fuck you are going during the winter
Shoot LMGs, HMGs and artillery cannons
Go to Tijuana instead and watch a donkey show
Shoot LMGs, HMGs and artillery cannons
Is that actually legit? I mean, I would be in America. It'd be a missed opportunity for me not to go to a gun range. Can tourists access those easily?

You could go look at the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Biltmore hotel. It's a masterpiece of his Desert Usonian architecture. You could also visit Taliesin West, which was his home and studio during the latter portion of his life. I don't know if you enjoy sightseeing or architecture, but those are some pretty cool places to visit if you do. I don't know if you have much light pollution where you live, but go out to the desert at night, but don't forget to bundle up because temperatures drop like a mother fucker. So go out to the desert at night and go star gazing. You'll be amazed at how many stars you'll see. Also yeah gun ranges are pretty open, you might want to look up some rules about it. I'm sure you could buy some bullets, and just start shooting. Usually people bring their own guns, but you might be able to rent one for cheap.
Go hiking. Plenty of trails to chose from.
I'd recommend going to the Grand Canyon if you haven't already been its like a 3 odd hour drive you should be able to hit Flagstaff on the way over which is a cute little town with an amazing pizza place called Pizzicletta. there is also an nice little place called the Pomegranate cafe somewhere in phoenix.
There's several good climbing gyms in that area
Phoenix? There's a lot to do there so long as you like hard drugs and getting kidnapped. /s

If you feel like driving, there is pioneer village along I17. Its near Anthem and is a neat museum. There's also Sliderock up in Sedona, lots of trails for hiking and is absolutely gorgeous. The ride alone getting there is pretty breath taking too, feels like a fantasy movie. The superstitious mountains is also a great place to hike too. I haven't been to Central Phoenix much, but if you're going to central phoenix go to where the Phoenix Suns play. Around that area, a ton of interesting architecture, restaurants, bars, etc. It's a pretty fun nightlife around there. The Arizona State Capital's museum is nice too. Like other people said there's also Sandy shoot where you can shoot everything imaginable. Sometimes they have tanks there too. Lake pleasant is also a nice place to visit as well, lots of water sports to do there. Theres also golf, lots and lots of golf. Golf. Lots of it.

The real question, OP, is why you would want to visit phoenix of all places
Go to the Talking Stick Resort in scottsdale, buffet is World Famous. One stop down the road is a place called Top Golf, an outdoor driving range with full service Food/Drink.
