• I actually had a pleasant experience at Best Buy. Finally.

So tonight, I walk into Best Buy to find a cell phone, which sadly, they were sold out of. So browsing around the store a bit more, I find these headphones called Tours (Made by Monster) and the series are called Beats by Dr. Dre. http://www.beatsbydre.com/products/Products.aspx?pid=B4608 So anyways, I get a pair, and ask my mom if she wants a pair. So she gets the Lady Gaga version (which is surprising because we both dislike her). Anyways, we're looking at them, and this employee named Chris comes up and helps, not only that, but he's funny and generally friendly, unlike other BB employees I've experienced. So we're ringing up. I have two pairs of headphones and The Breakfast Club, and two drinks. The lady looks at me and goes "I'm giving you 20% percent off your pair of headphones, and 10% off your pair (looks at my mom)." So our total went from $284.41 to $242.20. She basically gave us her employee discount, just out of generosity. It really made my day. Maybe not much of a story to you guys and girls, but I thought it would be worth posting, knowing that someones good deed has not gone unnoticed.
Rip off
Oh my god Best Buy employees are people!
Now if only you had bought a hooker, imagine the savings!
The headphones aren't very good for the price, fyi.
You're here to brag about buying $180 earphones.

Also a rip-off, should have gotten some good headphones instead.
That's rare...!

beats suck
What? Whenever i go to best buy they're very helpful and nice.
You're here to brag about buying $180 earphones.
Except they aren't $180. Best Buy only charges $150 for them.
Except they aren't $180. Best Buy only charges $150 for them.
Still a gigantic rip-off, good headphones don't even reach $100.
If she had given you the employee discount those headphones would be about $30 each.
You do realize an employee discount is not 80%, especially not at Bestbuy right? I have a friend that works at Staples and he gets a 15% discount.
Those are some expensive earphones. I hope they're worth it.
The lady was only being nice to you because you seemed to be a gigantic moron, and felt guilty about selling you those horrendous over priced ear plugs.
2 employees =/= whole companies reputation

I have 3 friends that work at Best Buy. I always get discounts off of everything except games, since apparently, games are the only things in the store that BB makes almost no profit on.
If she had given you the employee discount those headphones would be about $30 each.
I'd be really surprised if staff received such a discount.

If the manager sees the cashier using her own employee discount on a transaction she made, she will be fired. She used someone else's.
Best Buy employees are usually nice but you just got ripped the fuck off so
Enjoy your overpriced shitty headphones.
When I look for games there for my PC i chat with the guy it get really interesting when i go again i gonna talk about graphics cards
Sorry to be off the topic about Best Buy, but you could have just used this... http://www.colorwarepc.com/p-188-beats-studio.aspx And bought those...
Reviews show there is nothing special and is a bit uncomfortable to wear, but lists nothing extraordinary or recommends it, just a little "worth a try" from completely dissing it.
y did you spent 200 dollars on those [editline]04:54AM[/editline] like holy shit
Thread is now about which headphones are the best.
