"instead of having some sort of bulky gamer headset, you’ll be able to do it right off your smartphone, put in your earbuds that you use for your standard mobile device. We think that’s a pretty sweet solution."
I'm baffled by this. The same earbuds you use with your standard phone can perfectly well also be used with at least the PS4 and I would be surprised if it's not the same for the XBone. That argument is completely null.

not only that but the SOLUTION of how it works, as well as the things needed for it to work are in and of itself bulky
my phone came with good ear buds that have a decent mic. Works fine. The switch easily could have worked with those.
This is like fixing your cars electrics... by attaching parts to the outside of the car so that you can run it off of that. It's as far from 'less bulky' as you can possibly get. Imagine driving around like an asshole with a battery taped to the side of your truck. This is the same thing.

Or you fix your radio by having its own battery on the passanger seat and wiring it into a totally seperate radio that isn't even from a car, and then create totally hacky software and have it umbilical'd to the car. You could just... have a not broken radio instead
:hammered:
honestly nintendo only know how to make handheld consoles and games (and saying handheld consoles is a reach)
anything else is too much
All this criticism hopefully leads to them completely scrapping it and putting those features into the Switch.
