Haven't done some photoshoping in a while, probably could have done better, messed up half-way through and went with some kind of cartoony/anime style. Original: [img_thumb]http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/25/269264639011109a7e01b.jpg[/img_thumb] The result: [img_thumb]http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/6892/apocalypticlisbon1.jpg[/img_thumb] Alternative (since the above is filter raped): [img_thumb]http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/7264/apocalypticlisbon2.jpg[/img_thumb]

I agree myself, although I only used 1 filter at the end for the red color and another for the outlines because cutting the sky off kinda messed it up :\ The broken windows were hand painted, the grass was using brushes and I used some texture overlays for the ground and stairs. [editline]09:09PM[/editline] Made a less filter raped one using the original and the first edit: [img_thumb]http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/7264/apocalypticlisbon2.jpg[/img_thumb]
I think it is excellent, really. I don't judge you for the use of filters since you obviously put a lot of effort into this.
Looks nice as a thumbnail, but a lot of the nice details were lost through filter rape. Colors are excellent though.
It looked better as a thumbnail.
Yeah, it looked much better than the final product until I tried to replace the sky with another image, then because of the bad blending, I had to filter rape it a bit too much. Thanks for the opinions everyone, I'll try to do much better on the next one.
The alernative one looks like a normal sky to me
[QUOTE=Hell-met;15933216]The alernative one looks like a normal sky to me[/QUOTE] The alternative one was made by placing the original on top of the final one with a luminosity layer effect.
Well I won't say it's good a picture composition-wise... But I do have to say that you've got it quite appealing to the eyes. Most filter-ridden images tend to hurt your eyes and cause you intra-ocular bleeding of some sort, this doesn't, actually, it's kind of a relaxing image... Which absolutely goes against your thread title by the way. :v: All in all, minus some extra, unneeded detail like those background buildings on the right and some other stuff... I can see this as the final product of someone who'd PAINT it in photoshop or any other program of the sort. As an actual photo, it's just edited of course, but not overly so. PS - About the alternative image, of course.
