I heard that a better graphics card can increase CPU speed. Is this true?
No. That's like saying if you had bigger keyboard your monitor would get bigger

Oh, because i heard that a better graphics card help compute graphics and lets cpu have more power to do other stuff. i dunno.

That's different than what your original post says. This statement is true, if your GPU is more powerful, then the CPU doesn't have to work harder to process what the GPU is now processing (if you follow me).

I dunno much about tech stuff, so whatever, LOL.
Technically no, a more powerful GPU doesn't make the CPU more powerful. However, some programs do come with GPU acceleration, so that can make them go a bit faster.

-snipped due to incorrect information-
When the GPU has no more available cycles, they are transferred to the CPU, taking those cycles away from the user's programs. If the GPU has enough cycles, then the CPU can run at its intended speed.
/technology rant :v:
Where the hell did you pull that from? The CPU and GPU process different kinds of tasks, they can't just swap them between eachother.

GET OUT NUB xD ahahahha 1337
Please stop talking like that, Facepunch is somewhat formal.
Also, are u planning on upgrading your computer? If you are, just tell us about its specifications (CPU, Graphics card, etc.).

I already have a new computer that just needs a graphics card. I was just asking about my old one so I can give it to my cousin so he can play games with me, LOL.
