So I'm in need of a new pc and luckily my grandparents who live somewhere in no onesland told me I could buy anything below €2000 euros, but I don't like to push the limit so a 1200/1300€ will do fine I hope.
Anyway, I'm in Europe (The Netherlands), so if you have any cheap sites you'd like to use, please make sure they ship to Europe.
It's going to be used for gaming (Bad company 2 etc) and other school stuff blah blah,
what I want is
- an atleast 21" monitor
- all the pc parts (cpu [<-- preferably an i5], gpu [<-- preferably an ATI 5xxx, preferably, if it fits in the budget, 2*5xxx in xfire], atleast 500gb hdd, no ssd bullshit, atleast 4gb ram) + case
- a normal keyboard and mouse (please no complicated mouses, just a basic one that isn't too expensive)
- no headset/speakers
- dvd drive
- no OS
also, it won't be overclocked or something
I'm not 100% sure but my very rought estimation would be something like this:
€300 monitor
€250 gpu
€200 cpu
€100 mobo
€100 psu
€100 4gb ram
€80 atleast 500gb hdd
€80 case
€50 mouse + keyboard

A tiny bit over the 1300€ is okay, but don't go too far.

I would have gone with the 5870 but at the moment it is a "hard to get" card in Holland, so i recommend you get the 5770 or wait until it is available again.

I made it an 5770 build since the 5870's are hard to get in Holland (I also tried to get one but failed).
And i agree on the x6 though, but so far i haven't seen a shop that has them.

There is the 5850 at least. But don't know if you can find them in the stock.
But I agree the Phenom X6 is useless currently.
Yes, you can't find them in shops because they are coming out VERY soon... Just wait a few days i believe and it will be worth it

Use the site [url]www.Alternate.nl[/url] <-- It is one of the cheapest.
Im english so i dont understand it but they may ship euro-wide anywa the X6s will be out v soon. A chinese site is releasing them today and the rest will follow soon
