Donald Trump asks for voters to raise their right hand and "swear an oath" to vote for him
Donald Trump on Saturday led a mass rally in taking a pledge affirming their commitment to voting for him, and vowed to broaden existing laws regarding the interrogation of captured terrorist suspects.
The scene unfolded during a raucous rally at a University of Central Florida arena in Orlando, Florida, that featured frequent interruptions by protesters over Trump's hour-long address.
"Let's do a pledge. Who likes me in this room?" Trump asked the crowd. "I've never done this before. Can I have a pledge? A swearing? Raise your right hand."
The Republican front-runner then had the audience repeat after him.
"I do solemnly swear that I, no matter how I feel, no matter what the conditions, if there are hurricanes or whatever, will vote on or before the 12th for Donald J. Trump for President."
The crowd ended the pledge with cheers.
"Now I know. Don't forget you all raised your hands. You swore. Bad things happen if you don't live up to what you just did," Trump said before continuing with his speech.
The Florida Republican primary is on March 15.
Lol he sounds like a crime boss that's giving you a vague threat.
Jesus christ, this only gets creepier and creepier. I don't see how people aren't alarmed at the fact that he's able to even gain traction in the first place.
Honestly surprised they didn't finish it with "sieg heil" but I guess you have to be original at some point.

he doesn't give a fuck because he's a narcissistic sociopath
he has the profile of a fucking suicide cult leader, how can anyone see him doing shit like this and be anything other than terrified

For entertainment's sake, sure. But when someone says they support him cause "he ain't afraid to say what he thinks" it's a little scary. Especially considering some of the things he thinks are borderline psychopathic.
This is like a horror story in the making.
So basically the Pledge of Allegiance (or whatever you guys call that creepy cult thing they make you do in schools) but to himself? Oh Trump.

Long live First Citizen Trump. May his Wall last 1000 years.

I personally don't think he'd make a great president but I think people like him because he just ooze's confidence in everything. He may not be 100% honest or whatever but he doesn't allow himself to get fucked in the ass by anyone even if they're right. He just doesn't give a fuck and refuses to be controlled by the GOP. Honestly that's why my parents like him because he doesn't care what others think. He refuses to be a puppet.
Why it sound like he hypnotising his voters?

Trump is power fantasy embodied.
Unfortunately, it's just a fantasy.
Oh, this was the same Trump rally that had a cosplayer in the audience.

Dass Donald Trump ist verrückt.
I used to think Trump was acceptable because his statements in previous speeches were much more vague, but after listening to his last few speeches I think he has taken a really bad turn. It's actually very scary what is happening in our country right now, thank god I live in a liberal stronghold, the conservatives are actually scary.
ok this is really genuinely unnerving
the amount of people getting FRIGHTENED over some hands lmfao

Heil Trump
I hope Trump comes to NJ.
I'll wear a Mussolini-esque uniform with a facepunch armband and salute him. If I can find such things.
Jesus that shit is creepy to me idk why. Having people pledge to vote for you is enough, but having them do a legit oath with their hands in the air doing something similar to the pledge of allegiance is just downright weird. and saying "Bad things happen if you don't live up to what you just did" is even weirder, I know he's joking but shit dude chill out over there we all know you're getting that nomination at this point.
Look, I don't like Trump either.
But this is relatively harmless, he's encouraging people to actually vote.
The nazi comparisons are just silly.
yeah, hitler had a better haircut
