I want to buy a new graphics card, I already checked a lot of benchmarks but I want some opinions/personal experience before I make my final decision.
At the moment the ''Asus GeForce GTX 460, 1GB, DirectCU'' is for sale at my local shop for €159/218$/£134. But if anyone knows a better card for that price, please do tell.

that should be a pretty good price for a full 460, just check the price against any 6850s on the same site as they perform near identically but depending on the site may be priced higher or lower

So you would suggest the 460 over the 6850? or I can't really go wrong with either?
whichever is cheapest, they perform within a few FPS of each other and there's no major feature differences between them
so go with the 460

I don't think he would post his budget in 3 currencies, inlcuding the US dollar, unless he was open to all suggestions.

Well, either way, newegg is a perfectly fine information hub with a large electronic section available. If he doesn't purchase from there, he can easily find another site that has his ware.
