Do think drawing and writing on the helmet was more of a Vietnam thing. WWII helmets didn't have the cloth cover. Most you'd prolly be able to do is plain - netted - netted with camo on.

I joined Steam in 2004 for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (and of course have played a lot of Counter-Strike on WON). I demand a ten year medal next year!
That way, when I'm on a losing streak, at least I can say I've sucked at Counter-Strike for longer.
Pretty soon I could have a ten year coin.

I used to think i was really shit, because i din't do all that well while having played CS since 1.5.
But then i realized that literally ~80% of the people i play with/against have a 5 year veteran medal.
