This is my video and my test, but it's on my older PC.
In-game(Windowed):10-25 FPS on that machine is actually pretty damn impressive.

In-game(Windowed):10-25 FPS with those specs is actually pretty damn impressive.
For fuck sake the music.

Sorry, I meant 1-25 FPS.
Thats how I played it in 2007 before I got my new machine

Don't you have a bit more of an average fps? 1-25 is from totally unplayable to quite playable.
It kind of looks like Far Cry.

Depends what I was looking at. If I was looking at the sea only, I had even more than 25 FPS, but If I was in a fight or in the forest, I had even 1 fps. You can see it in the video too.

It always looks like Far Cry low settings or high.

I beg to differ, 25 FPS isn't "quite playable" at all. I was at 25 FPS for most of Far Cry 2, and it's playable, but nowhere near enjoyable.
That's because it is Far Cry 2.

I've never gotten higher than ~20 FPS on any game I've ever played, I don't see what you people find so unplayable.

Try playing something at 60 fps, then go back to 20 fps. There is a noticable difference and everything is nice and smooth.
The same build as my old PC, besides the Radeon 9600, I had a 9200.
What a clunker that thing is
cause your using a AMD and ATI.. more piping on those proccessors.. of coarse you ca run it.. yours run like pop though.. jsut wait for FARCRY 2 on XBOX360 mate.
Real time rendering, SSAO, and you probably didnt use a custom config to turn off all the still active resource hogging effects.
I need an upgrade badly, but it's just not going to happen anytime soon because of my position :smith:. I have AMD Athlon XP 1.2GHz, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9800XT.
