I manually installed an updated mono so i could run Vapor, and now banshee no longer works. It outputs this when i run it [code]Running Banshee 2.0.1: [Ubuntu 11.04 (linux-gnu, x86_64) @ 2011-05-07 15:17:23 UTC] Unhandled Exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'Hyena.Gui.Dialogs.ExceptionDialog' from assembly 'Hyena.Gui, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Startup[Client] () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Startup[Client] (System.String[] args) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Nereid.Client.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.AppDomain:ExecuteAssembly (System.AppDomain,System.Reflection.Assembly,string[]) at System.AppDomain.ExecuteAssemblyInternal (System.Reflection.Assembly a, System.String[] args) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at System.AppDomain.ExecuteAssembly (System.String assemblyFile, System.Security.Policy.Evidence assemblySecurity, System.String[] args) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at (wrapper remoting-invoke-with-check) System.AppDomain:ExecuteAssembly (string,System.Security.Policy.Evidence,string[]) at System.AppDomain.ExecuteAssembly (System.String assemblyFile) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at (wrapper remoting-invoke-with-check) System.AppDomain:ExecuteAssembly (string) at Booter.Booter.BootClient (System.String clientName) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Booter.Booter.Main () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0[/code] I'm still getting a hang of how things work, i don't even know what my original mono installation was so i can't revert. Any help is appreciated.
I just reinstalled ubuntu and it solved all my problems.
