My ipod touch 2g doesny seem to want yo display or anything. When you plug it in it detects something is there but it takes a while and ot doesnt find it as an apple devise. Plea
se help.
DFU mode + Restore.
I cannot use the buttons and the display is gone. Anf when I plug it into my pc it sayd its unrecognised and it take about 30 seconds to even detect that somthing is plugged in
Google DFU mode first.
I know what dfu mode is but if i have no controll over my ipod and the compiter cant detect it. ..

Again, have you even tried to put the device in DFU mode? Unless your iPod was physically damaged, DFU mode can be activated no matter what, as long as you are doing it correctly.

Then the second part of my statement answers the question.
Mate its alright now, I left it to run out of battery untill it had the low battery logo and a charged it up agin and its fine. It was on a full battery when it broke though.
