Trump claims that the only way he'll lose Pennsylvania is if Hillary cheats
Donald Trump declared Friday that there's only one way he could lose the state of Pennsylvania: if he's cheated out of it. "We're going to watch Pennsylvania. Go down to certain areas and watch and study and make sure other people don't come in and vote five times," he said at a rally in Altoona, Pennsylvania. "If you do that, we're not going to lose. The only way we can lose, in my opinion -- I really mean this, Pennsylvania -- is if cheating goes on."
Trump, who campaigned earlier Friday in Erie, Pennsylvania, said he "knows the state very well" and knows Clinton "can't beat what's happening here."
Unless there's cheating.
"The only way they can beat it, in my opinion -- and I mean this 100% -- if in certain sections of the state, they cheat," he said.

guess he's not going back on the "it's rigged!" claims
Me not being American, is Pennsylvania a swing state?
Me not being American, is Pennsylvania a swing state?
Usually not, but it has in some elections. However, this election is turning everything upside down with some states that never mattered becoming swing states, some states that were always this color swinging solidly to the other.
It has 20 or so electoral votes, which puts it on the meatier of states with them, but it's not highest.
Not that I don't believe Trump would take another opportunity to make an ass of himself, but you forgot a source link.

fixed
I think he's setting up the conditions to spark a revolt once he inevitably loses in a landslide. The question is if his crazies will bite.

I don't think it's that complicated.
I think it's, he's such a narcissist that he cannot fathom "losing" and so it must not be his fault if it happens.
I think it's purely for him to rationalize complete and utter defeat.

I love this image. Pro Trump supporters (Trumpets?) kept saying that Trump is winning huge numbers of people over while those grounded in reality said he won only the the largest minority of GOP voters and will crash when it comes to the general election and general voters. This picture proves that to be a complete, utter falsehood.
Most of the people around here want Trump mainly because they don't like Clinton's anti-coal ideas. Most of the young people here want him too, I think he for sure stands a fair chance at least in the rural areas but who knows at this point.

Coal workers I can understand, but younger generations that haven't had a long career in that industry is a bit bewildering.
Remember guys
Trump has been planning this for decades
Everything he is doing is carefully planned a lifetime in advance
i swear to god if marco rubio didnt get suicide bombed by christie and won the primary, he'd win the general election
trump just can't shut up to save his life
I just can't wait to see his reaction when he loses the election.
PA needs to all vote for Johnson just to stick it to Trump wholly. He can't claim Hilary rigged it if Hilary also loses the state, after all.
Me not being American, is Pennsylvania a swing state?
Normally, no, but in this election we have 50 swing states.

Most of them are third, fourth generation even. They've known the coal industry their entire lives, grew up under it, they can trace the mines back up their family tree for decades.
They're as attached to the mines as their fathers, their father's fathers, etc.

Yeah, he will probably do better in Pennsyltucky region but the major cities will definitely go for Hillary, overriding whatever votes they can cast for Trump.

Basically when he loses, no matter by what percentage, there will be protests/potential riots. He's been talking like this recently and as the gap keeps growing I can only see his campaign pushing it even more. While it may be humorous to watch all the whining, I think we should be careful the few days after the election and any recounts.
Me not being American, is Pennsylvania a swing state?
No, not really. Last time a Republican won it was 1988 for George H. Bush, but that was coming off the era of Reagan. It's one of those states that is somewhere between swing state and reliably Democratic, so it's not impossible for a Republican to win it, but they certainly haven't had any success at it in a long time.
It's often compared to a sort of fool's gold for the Republican party. There's been more than a few serious plays at it, particularly back in 2012 with Romney, who wasted a significant amount of resources in the state and didn't even come close.

What's even more scary, Donald Trump now has a thing on the website where you can now become an "election observer", that's right VIOLENCE at the Polling Places!
Am I really the only person in America that believes that the elections are not rigged?
Sure buying a spot in the candidacy is absolutely awful, but you still have the right to choose whoever you want to vote for.
Hillary has been a very public political figurehead for decades. More people knew about her existence long before they ever heard of the other candidates. That's why she has had this election in the bag from the very beginning.

What exactly is that because as far as I know you can't do any political advocating within so many yards of a polling station (50 yards I think?) and that would be a pretty clear violation

While I don't have too much of a problem with observers at some polling locations, the fact that these will be biased/partisan makes it really sketch. Hopefully things don't get out of hand.
Oh wow, imagine that, Trump declaring a self-fulfilling prophecy so that he can seem like he's right even when he's wrong.
What a fucking joke.

it is most likely a voter intimidation thing, another violation of RNC consent Decree, punishable by kicking out the "election observer", and extends the RNC Consent Decree eight more years.
