iPhone isn't a gaming phone...?
iPhone isn't a gaming phone...?
iPhone is horrible in a lot of ways comparing to other high end android phones, let's not bring this up again.
uh, sony xperia?
You can't get one where I live. Also I don't trust ebay with phones
iPhone is horrible in a lot of ways comparing to other high end android phones, let's not bring this up again.
How so? If we're talking strictly gaming phones, I'd say the iPhone is a worthy contender. Even then, the iPhone works pretty well for most things.
The screensize is a huge downer for gaming for a start. Sure games are playable, but wait until you play the same game on a 720P 4.3+ inch screen

Most games on Android are relatively low resolution (at least the ones I've tried) and don't run well on the Galaxy Nexus. I guess as the screen size slowly gets adopted then you'll have a point but for now it seems like a bad argument.
Get something with a physical keyboard or get a bluetooth gamepad. Emulators will usually run even on the crappiest phones.

Most Android phones are on qHD, which isn't much far off from the resolution of the retina display. A large percentage of apps also supports android tablets at the same time, which often have even higher resolutions. 720P has the same aspect ratio as qHD, which doesn't look bad at all when upscaled from the native qHD graphics even if higher resolution is unavailable for an app that is designed to run exclusively on a phone.

I concede to your points but I still personally think that the iPhone is a worthy contender, even though it's not the best.
The screensize is a huge downer for gaming for a start. Sure games are playable, but wait until you play the same game on a 720P 4.3+ inch screen
The biggest problem IMO is the need to jailbreak to do anything worthwhile.
