I recently reinstalled Windows 7 after a harddrive malfunction, and one of the last steps to that was installing my Zune software. Problem is, that I had the program open and attempted to pin it to the superbar, but it added a second entry instead. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program to unpin it(couldn't do it manually), and now I've got a blank icon on the superbar. I can't unpin it.

Delete the shortcut from:
%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

Try unpinning the other Zune shortcut.

I did, first thing I tried. I rebooted, it was still there, but I'm glad to say the icon is now gone. I don't know what happened, but Windows Update kicked in, the computer autorebooted and the icon is now gone. Thanks for the help anyway, Panda.
