So I watched this film today on Film4, from which I remember watching a short clip years ago. And this film is of quite great significance to me because the character that Robert De Niro plays reminds me pretty much exactly of my stepdad. And also, it's a great fucking film
The story about the relationship between a rebellious 50s teenager and his abusive father, based on the memoirs of writer and literature professor Tobias Wolff.

I thought this film was really good. Has anyone else seen it? What are your opinions on it?
