I feel the biggest problem with tabletop adaptations is letting a RNG take over for the dice rolls. No one will ever trust it to be truly random, and for a lot of board games - especially Space Hulk - all the tension is in those dice rolls, and such moments are lost when the computer just crunches through and resolves.
The fix is easy: Wolfire's Desperate Gods did dice rolls right. Just implement physics-based dice.
