Guo's friends tended to her until she could be taken to the hospital. Doctors say Guo suffered a fractured pelvic bone as well as injuries to her face, ears and teeth.Guo said, 'I didn't think much. I only thought that I couldn't let Li Qiaoqiao get hurt because she is my good friend. So I pulled her away.' I'm glad she's alright.
I came in here expecting her to have died in her place. I am relieved.
What a nice person. I wish I could be as nice.
It's good that she actually survived the accident. That's a refreshing change when a story like this comes about.
Don't get me wrong that's a very kind act to do, but I personally hate when people just walk into the street like that into traffic instead of waiting for a pause.
Don't get me wrong that's a very kind act to do, but I personally hate when people just walk into the street like that into traffic instead of waiting for a pause.
Well it did say it was a speeding van, and it looks like in that area they just have to run when it seems clear.
Good that she survived. I'm a bit confused how she managed to get hit though if she pulled her friend out of the way. If she had pushed her out of the way, then I'd see how it happened.
Screwed with Death's plan...
Good girl
That's good that she survived but I think she probably had enough time for her to get away herself if she moved more out of the road.
It kinda looks like she pulled her friend away and then stepped infront of the van.

Give this girl a medal
Why are drivers in china such assholes? I mean, the driver of the van hit a fucking kid hard enough to send her flying several meters away and just drove off like nothing happened?

The people have no idea of the laws regarding it, it's total chaos...

That video makes me cringe for so many reasons. The way they just walk out into traffic like they are all Wolverine or something. The way that van just rolls right into them, that driver HAD to have seen people in the road. Stop? No need, I'll just swerve to the right, what could go wrong? The way the girl lays there in some kind of tweaked position, you just know she's got serious injuries. The way they grab her and stand her up! What the fuck people?!? I wonder if they said "Walk it off", in Chinese of course "Wok it off".
Ugh christ, reminds of the other thread where another van... Except this one, people survived.
Although she got badly injured as a result, it's not every day that you hear that someone at this age was willing to sacrifice themselves to save a friend. She had to have known that it was dangerous to try that in the first place.
Don't get me wrong that's a very kind act to do, but I personally hate when people just walk into the street like that into traffic instead of waiting for a pause.
It's China. There is no pause.
What in the fuck is wrong with Chinese drivers. Your license would be revoked for eternity if you drove that way in the states. Or dead.
Don't get me wrong that's a very kind act to do, but I personally hate when people just walk into the street like that into traffic instead of waiting for a pause.
I dont think you understand how to cross a road in China, you dont wait for the green man, In China the traffic lights are a reference to drivers, Every time I cross a one way street I have to look both ways incase there is a car with no lights on driving the wrong way up it. I have seen a person drive the wrong way up the motorway. You cannot predict this shit
Holy shit. If I was in this situation, I see my self just standing there in shock watching someone get run over. This girl is brave as fuck.
She deserves free milkshakes forever
Tackling the friend over with a dive would might have been a way to prevent oneself from getting hit too. As in run, grab and dive.
Tackling the friend over with a dive would might have been a way to prevent oneself from getting hit too. she got friend zoned at the end there But in all seriousness, glad she's ok.
HOLY SHIT!
