What do you think of the AC-130?
Is the immense amount of firepower, death, doom and destruction worth the cost?
Is it just the biggest piece of wank on the market or is it useful?

My favorite all time aircraft has got to be the A-10. That thing is a flying tank. There are reports of entire wing sections being blown off and that thing still flies.

I've flown in a Hercules, but unfortunately the RAF don't operate these babies so I have never seen one in real life.

I've always thought the AC-130 was pretty cool, especially after the first Transformers movie came out.
